I can only remember a phrase that resonates with me but can't remember complete song lyrics. No matter how many times I listen to a song.

No way. Certain people have a knack forit. And truthfully they way tthey sing songs today they slur their words and there's so much background noise you can't hear what they're sayin. Listen to some songs from the 40's and you'll see what I mean.
Bad news: if you forget even one word of a song that you've heard at some point in your life, you're practically a vegetable. Rest in RIP
