Is it normal i went to a leftist university but became pretty much alt-right?

I recently graduated with a 4-year degree from a major university that is highly left-leaning. Despite this, I basically support the alternative right ("alt-right") group. I say "basically" because I don't follow every alt-right belief, for example, I don't support homophobia. I guess I am somewhere between the alt-light and the alt-right, probably leaning more towards the alt-right.

I side with the alt-light/alt-right because I have looked objectively at data and at reality, I've read articles and statistics and have thought about all of this, and it seems that that side has the correct ideas overall.

I have come to the conclusion that white nationalism, race realism, true free speech, etc. are the true and good things, whereas multiculturalism, political correctness, modern feminism, Islam, etc. are not only stupid, incorrect things - they are also serious threats, and they should be stopped ASAP in white countries.

Before I started university, I was libertarian, but I didn't really have opinions on societal issues. Now I do - for example, I am pro "Europe for Europeans," I believe that diversity is -not- strength. I am a firm believer in race realism, and in gender realism (is that even a phrase?).

Is it normal to have a 180 degree switch -away- from the political and social opinions that you were surrounded by?

If you're in a university, you're in a marxist shithole. Keep your head down and get your piece of paper if you must, but leaving would be ideal.

    • EccentricWeird! Hi.

Well I already graduated with my degree (in May 2017). The whole academic experience, excluding STEM courses, was SJWy. I took a required anthropology course which taught us students that "gender is a spectrum"...A paper on "white privilege" was on the syllabus. The textbook for that course even described the communist takeover in China as a "modernization campaign." SMH

I can't believe a paper on "white privilege" was actually required. I believe you, I just can't believe that's part of a curriculum. Free thinking, free speech, and being rational are not encouraged anymore. That's what is really scary.

There's only 2 genders. There's a very real difference between races of people and it's not ONLY skin color. Diversity is not strength, it's forced interactions between people from completely different competing cultures and it won't end well.

        • Agreed, it is scary. And it's also scary how if you bring up any Wrongthink belief, like racial IQ differences, you get shamed and name-called by the left. They also act like you're a fringe lunatic of society.

Leftists say I am a war monger that is a threat to society BECAUSE of my level of intelligence. No contraindications, no historical references, no recognition of creativity, just finger pointing based on pseudo-morality.

Probably because it is fringe lunatic.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
Yup, you're in the lunatic fringe.

            • "All men are created equal" means that every person is born with equal, inherent rights. Not that each person has exactly the same IQ, skillset, etc. You are seriously misinterpreting that phrase.

So, even if it wasn't anonymous what's the worst thing that could happen?

Honestly, leftists are a scourge upon the earth. My dad had problems with a Spanish professor at U of H in the 1970's after doing an autobiographical assignment, because that bastard was a Marxist and my dad is ex Special Forces. That professor should have graded my dad's work on his knowledge of the Spanish language and grammar, not on the fact that my father was ex-military and a generally more conservative person.

Ultra left-wing liberals always talk about tolerance, but they wouldn't know tolerance if it bit them on the ass. Tolerance is not a one way street, liberals are only tolerant of people who share their point of view which isn't really tolerance, but actually just favoritism. Conservatives who practice tolerance know that true tolerance is a two way street.

Social justice warriors are just a bunch of brainwashed idiots who enjoy being paid to to protest by that self-hating Jew and Nazi sympathizer George Soros.

Anyway, I doubt there's any harm in telling us where you went to school.

I talked to a Marxist college professor briefly at a dinner party. He scoffed at my knowledge of economics, simply saying that capitalism was immoral and bourgeoisie like me should be shot.

Imagine the nerve. A professor should be capable of critical thinking, but instead he is sassing off like a televangelist. I expect and tolerate losers in society. They are pursuing happiness in their own twisted way. But this guy had no more mental discipline than a car wash employee.

              Disgusting.

There is no tolerance, not as "the leftists" understand it. They've completely gone off the map. When people, any people, become convinced of their own self righteousness, dangerous events occur.

Prepare yourself. A great historical event is at our doorstep.

I my God, don't even get me started on consequences, because when people want to blame all their problems on everything and everyone else without even trying to see their part in it the truth is that they are the ones who have to feel the pain and deal with the life consequences. Please forgive my run on sentence, it's a guilty pleasure of mine.

I think it's normal to form opinions that contradict the ones around u. I think its natural to form counter-argurments and adopt those as a full blown opinion. I'm the same way, except I'm surrounded by religious whack-jobs, so I became a universalist. Anyway, I don't feel that ur opinion is right (mostly because I'm mixed black and white) but as a libertarian I will always defend ur right to hate/judge whoever u want... At least hate/judging is the impression I get from the alt-right. Anyway, the point is that I try to stay objective on topics like this, but it's safe to say that u may be racist? I guess it doesn't matter since ur no longer libertarian.

    • Being a libertarian is about recognizing each person's inalienable rights to "Life liberty and property." As long as a person believes in those rights, they can be considered libertarian. Libertarianism has nothing to do with race.

And if not wanting hordes of non-Europeans in Europe makes me "racist," then yeah, I'm "racist."

I just don't understand y it has to just be non Europeans... I mean I think Trump is doing great to keep refugees out, and sending Hispanics back, but I can't relate with only waning Europeans/Caucasians... A pure blood stream usually means they are a generation away from making wrong turn a reality... I don't want hordes of hillbillies everywhere either. they're just as bad if not worse due to thier hate of every other person with some extra melanin.

        • Well I said I didn't want large numbers of non-Europeans in Europe, I didn't say that about the USA. The USA is stolen land, so I don't think white nationalism can be applied here fairly.

As far as inbreeding, which I think is what you're getting at, it's completely possible for white people in the USA or in Europe to mate among themselves and not get inbred.

          • Ray-BanRaven

Enough generations imbreed will lead to genetic disorders. Plus the only way to rid the world of all the colors is to breed with those colors or kill them all... Either way, have u thought about maybe just getting over ur dislike of other races? Is it worth ur energy?

            Comment Hidden ( show )
              -
            • Are you serious? Inbreeding is NOT automatically caused by one race only mating amongst itself. Where did you get that idea?

              Comment Hidden ( show )
  • 1. I'm not marching in the streets. 2. I don't hate "brown, black, yellow people," I just believe that they should not be in Europe. Europe = where white people evolved. Europe for Europeans, Asia for Asians, Africa for Africans.

By this logic you are saying the USA is for Native Americans. And Australia is for aborigines. Whiteys don't come from there, so why can't other cultures migrate and settle like we have throughout history?

      • Are you illiterate? I already specified in another comment of mine that I think white nationalism can be applied fairly to Europe, -not- to the USA.
