Is it normal i pretend to be a monster hiding in a closet?

I have this really frequent fantasy, in which I am a monster lurking in a closet, waiting to eat little children up. When I imagine, I often take BOTH point of views, of both prey and predator.

So in my fantasy, I'm basically a humanoid monster, who would hide in closets and underneath beds. I really love it when I hear the child squeak in terror, and I love is when I actually feel the fear as the child herself. The children are around 10, and I am 15 in real life.

Recently, I've admitted this to my best friend in one of our talks during P.E. She said she had something similiar where she hides in a closet, but pretends to be a cat! We both felt really relieved, and she even promised to let me hide in her closet one day. I'm looking forward to it.

Is this weird? Are any of you people like me or my friend? If so, what do you fantasize about? What do you pretend to be when hiding in closets?

I think it's normal to want to be something you're not. Haven't heard of wanting to be a monster, though.

I mean, it's fine, not "normal" (assuming you're an adult,) but it's fine, I have the opinion do whatever you want unless you're hurting yourself or others.

It's totally normal to wish to embody a perfect creature such as a cat. This monster shit on the other hand is shitty.
