Is it normal i have lots of anxiety about going to bed due to restless mind

I have anxiety about going to bed at night and always have as long as I can remember. I will stay up all night and deprive myself of sleep everyday. The reason is I am very easily restless. When i'm laying in bed there is no stimulation, everything's dark and quiet.
I'll some nights start talking to myself, like i'm talking to a non-existant therapist about every single current issue in my life. Or i'll get out of bed and start flicking through old magazines and notebooks or anything else. Or i'll put on music on my phone and imagine various scenarios in my head until I get bored. I need to do something and cant lie down especially since when I do it often takes me 2 hours to fall asleep.
I never take naps either for this reason. Doesnt matter how exhausted I am. Sometimes I genuienly wish i'd get sick so i'd be forced to nap for a few days, but (luckily) I never get sick. I havent had the flu in years.

    It’s very hard for me to get to sleep. I’m always over analyzing something. I watch TV to fall asleep. Star Trek or LOTR. I guess sci-fi takes me out of reality. 🤷🏾‍♀️
