Is it normal i dreamt that my friend wasn't actually my friend

I dreamt that one of my longest friends was just pretending to be my friend, and that I saw them in a group chat talking to other people I know, or used to know about how I was just a burden, and they never wanted to talk and it would be the worst part of their day. This sounds small but it felt like it was really happening and I woke up with a tear puddle under my face.

I had a similar dream two nights later, with the same main person but it wasn't as real. I do not believe there was anything provoking this. I had a bit of a meltdown a few hours earlier but I don't know how they could be connected.

The main friend in the dream is the other gender, I'm a guy, if it matters.

I have known them for 4 years but I haven't seen them in 8 months because I moved, I have talked almost every day though.

I know of two ways you could try & work out what's going on with this dream. One is the theory that everyone in a dream is an aspect of you, the other is to focus on the feeling you're experiencing immediately you wake up after the dream.
