Is it normal i don't want to go to the doctor because i'm afraid im a hypochondriac

I posted earlier about the constant shock/panic feeling in my chest. it's been going on the past couple days. But I am a hypochondriac so I don't know if this is actually real or not. I guarantee if I go to the doctor they will just say it's anxiety and I need to relax. I get very embarrassed when I go to the doctor and its nothing, because I am a hypochondriac and I don't want people to find out or seem like an attention seeker

Anxiety causes a lot of weird symptoms. It may be in your head, but the feelings are real and not to be dismissed. The treatment is different. Before taking medication, try some simple changes. I'd consult a naturopath and work to create healthy habits. Breathe. Detach from electronics. Take a walk. Take your vitamins. B, D, and Magnesium. Talk to someone you trust about the fears you have. We all have fears. But we don't all have a safe space to talk about our feelings. Find one.

If your doctor doesn't help you, you might want to get a second opinion.

I've had strange sensations in my chest many times and i'm a pretty anxious person. Everytime I have ended up seeing a doctor for it, it's been nothing. I think you should look for further symptoms that can suggest something serious but you being a hypochondriac that's probably useless because you'll start to get more symptoms just by worrying. If a doctor would calm you down then I think you should go. And if you're certain you are a hypochondriac you should probably seek therapy so that you can work that out.
