Nobody’s interests are weird or cringy, good for you for finding something that inspires curiosity and makes you want to learn! Like what you like, as long as you aren’t endangering yourself or others.

Sounds rather grueling, and perhaps even gruesome. You should do a Google search on something called fecal vomiting.

Gastroparesis of any type is not fun, and is annoying. My mom has it and I’m pretty sure I do too. We aren’t diabetic and the food doesn’t take weeks to digest, but certainly longer than it should.
