I've been friends with this girl for like 6 years, we've been through a lot and use to talk basically everyday over the internet and visit each other. We were very close, I use to have a small crush on her (we are both girls) but never pursued it cause she had a girlfriend at the time but they broke up eventually. I think she might of known I liked her and she liked me back but I still never acted on it cause I was scared of rejection.

A year ago she met a guy and they started dating, this was the time when she started to ignore me and my messages. After a bit I gave up since she never replied anymore or only replied like once a week, recently I tried messaging her again cause it was her birthday but she gave me only a few replies and stopped responding.

I still feel really upset about it cause she was literally my best friend and I still love her so much, everytime I think of her I get heartbroken cause of how much fun we had together and I miss her a lot.

I still want to be her friend but I don't want to keep messaging her if she wont respond anymore cause I respect her but it still hurts.

    Lonelylez is right, that's not how you treat your friends, no matter if that becomes a sexual thing or not.

    Let her go, if she was a good friend then she would still be a good friend, but now she's got a boy friend she has shoved you to one side. I bet if she breaks up with her boy friend she will come running back. My advise to you is don't have her back.Tell her you were not suitable when she had a boy friend so your not available to her now.
