If, you know, your, boss, planning, fire, you

I like the job which I have been doing in for 6 months because my boss was really nice to me. On Oct 1~7,I was travelling to France with my boss. When I faced the French people there, I felt like I could not speak any English to them. I dont know French and my mother language is not English. For the 7days of the trip,I could not even speak one word and my boss was not happy with my work.

When we were back, the Human Resource Manager told me that my boss would plan to find another person to work in my position. That means he was really not happy with me and would probably fired me.

What do you feel if you are in this situation?

That's, not, where, the, tags, go.

I'd feel I'm not good at my job and work on improving my English and French to show my boss I'm aware I failed but that I'm working hard to be better.

That is a rough situation, in this case, there isn't much choice though. Either way, I would suggest looking around for another job. Quitting looks better to potential employers than being fired though, so you can either quit and look slightly worse, or hold on to the job until you get fired, the second option is slightly better because there is a chance they wont be able to find someone more qualified than you, so you can keep your position.

Go and talk to your boss. Tell him that you are aware that you have failed and that he was expecting for more but that you are motivated and that you will definitely work so that you can do much better next time.

Or maybe just try to find another job until

  • I'd feel shit and unwelcomed in that working environment.

Not sure why you asked this, but I think what you actually want to know is what to do next. And I'd look for another job that needs me so I'd get ready for being fired. Now, if you still manage to stay, it's up to you whether you can cope with the pressure, but I'd analyze my alternatives and take into account the comfort and security as well. A place where you're only under pressure is not good for your health, especially in the long run.

Do not quit your job. Make them fire you.
Stay and collect a pay check as long as you still can.

Meanwhile you should look for a new job.
