If you had to pick a country outside of america, where else would you go?

I’d say Ireland or Russia for me. My Dads sides Irish and my moms sides Russian. So I think I’d go to one of those countries. Where would you pick to go if you had to leave the United States?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

America. I'm not moving. Just try to take my guns. Sure you might succeed but at least I dont have to live to see it in full fruition.

Australia. Australia is a good pick. Sure the wildlife is a bit more dangerous but the people are pretty close to american.

But you're not allowed guns in Australia for self-defense. What are you going to do when wild commies attack?

Well I can just make some crappy pipe guns. Then if the commies invade aquire their weapons and go on from there.

Commies are like ants, man. They're a hive mind species. Gonna be hard to acquire those guns.

Haha. Thanks for the laugh though (I mean that in a friendly way and hope you get a laugh out of me as well).

Still, with no guns allowed for self-defense and a $20 minimum wage I figured you'd find them a bit far-left for you. They basically look like what Bernie Sanders wants to make of the US.

I think I would go to Canada just to be like okay. Whatever — this is basically America but like, less annoying. It would be a good start to traveling for me, someone who has never really gone anywhere alone and doesn’t know any other languages!

I don't believe the second claim. If it was similar, how come we don't hear of mass shooting and police casually murdering ppl excusing themselves with gun panic..?

You can own an AR15 in Canada which is a varient of the same rifle the US military uses. As fast as you can pull the trigger it will shoot. Guns seem to be cheaper there too. I browse canada gun sites and found some SKS for just $360 you cant find one of those in that shape under $900 in USA. You can conceal carry pistols.

I cant tell you why there is less mass shootings. But the crime rate overall is much lower in Canada than USA. Canada is just a good country overall.
Theres high paying jobs everywhere, land is cheap, weed is legal, guns are available, ppl are friendly, girls are skinnier. The only bad part is the weather.

On May 1, 2020, the Government of Canada has prohibited:

nine (9) types of firearms, by make and model, and their variants; and
firearms with a bore of 20 mm or greater, and those firearms capable of discharging a projectile with a muzzle energy greater than 10,000 Joules; and
the upper receivers of M16, AR-10, AR-15 and M4 pattern firearms.

          Information from the RCMP website.

The practice of CCW is generally prohibited in Canada. Section 90 of the Criminal Code prohibits carrying a concealed weapon unless authorized for a lawful occupational purpose under the Firearms Act. Section 20 of the Firearms Act allows issuance of an Authorization to Carry (ATC) in limited circumstances.

I didnt hear about that. It was this year apparently. It use to be you could own an AR15 but couldnt own magazines higher than 10rds.

This is another example of people who know nothing about guns making gun laws. There are many equivalent rifles legal there still from what im seeing on google. They banned the ones that look scary. SKS is a great gun on par with an AK47. Its completely legal there. Id actually prefer an SKS over an AK47. An SKS is more powerful than an AR15. It looks like a deer rifle though and probably why those idiots didn't ban them.

Its very similar to America. Its easy to legally own a gun. You fill out a form.

gun laws alone doesnt always mean you are going to have lots of mass shootings. Mexico has a total gun ban and has the highest gun crime in the world. America isnt the only place with lenient gun laws. The UAE has even less gun restrictions than the USA and have some of the lowest gun crime in the world. You can own fully automatic rifles there unlike in America.

Has a lot to do with culture and especially gangs

Mass shootings are not perpetrated by gangs but lone wolfs. Gang violence affects mostly other gang members and is not so relevant to the general everyman/woman. So if uiur claims are true, what do you think has prevented mass shootings in Canada or UAE. How could the culture prevent extremist actions of deranged persons?

  • I'd totally do some research first, lol, but the first countries I'd look into are:

    England (no new language)

Italy (food, architectural history, culture, ... wine)

    France (wine, food, culture)

Canada (no new language, probably the least different country, I actually like winter/snow)

I'm happy in Scandinavia. I certainly wouldn't wanna live in America and i'd rather die than live in or even go to Russia but i've always had a thing for London and I would move to Scotland for peoples accents alone and the nature is pretty and not too different from here and the climate is the same. Otherwise warm countries are beautiful but I couldn't handle the heat, I travelled to one once and I got a heat stroke and all the buses were crowded and they didn't have a very sufficient system with tickets.

Why this attitude to Russia, is it just because of the dictatorship or you hate the culture too? What about if Putin's regime is overthrown or dies and in his place somehow a democratic government takes power

There's a variety of countries I dream about going to and wanting to go over to:

    - Canada ( Mainly because of my cousins in my dads side of the family lives there, some of them live in America. )

    - Japan ( I dream about going there because of the interesting prefectures and the history is very interesting. )

    - Spain ( Despite going there a few times with my family I think Spain is another good place. )

    - Germany ( which is where one of my cousins come from. )

    - UAE ( where my annoying 16 year old cousin originally came from now he lives with me now. )

    - Trinidad and Tobago ( Solely because my dads part of the family is from the West Indies which probably sound weird to others if they ever read this. I've only been there once despite lots of mosquitoes seemed to came for me a lot. )

    - China ( I only want to go there not because they eat dogs and cats but rather because of places like Guangzhou and Shanghai. )

I'm personally not from the United States but I'd too would love to go there hence why I love American people ( I think I've made a post about that. )
