If you could be a skilled artist, what artistic material would you wish to be most skilled in using ?

I love all kinds of art but if I had to pick just one to be great at, I guess fabric. I have a huge collection of vintage fabrics that I am dying to use, I have a nice sewing machine that I can barely use, I love fashion and interior design. I am scared to waste my fabrics, that's what's been holding me back a bit.
Oh dude I completely understand. Try going to a dollar store and pick out some things you could use for fabric and practice on those until you’re more comfortable :)
What an enviable position! If I were you I'd swot up on YouTube and train on something inexpensive/disposable, like an old dishcloth or the cheapest non-stretchy textile product you can find at a charity shop/goodwill store/poundshop/dollar store.
I already do soft textiles a bit. Would love to expand - though again, it's a matter of space, equipment, materials and training.
If I had a choice, and a workshop, full equipment, materials and training were provided for free? Glassworks. I would love to create stained glass window decorations, unique cups and jugs, and sculptures that could be worn as jewellery.
I went with glass, but 2D digital art would be incredibly useful in today's art market.
Im an amateur photographer with an expensive lens. If I could choose any one it would either be digital/paper painter, or ceramicist as My crow like brain wants to make adorable Japanese tea like cups and put shiny trinkets in it

Pick a great line from a public speech... and its virtually certain that someone wrote that first.
Probably metal. There's something satisfying about art which has metal as its canvas. Metal can be all kinds of different colors too, which can make for art that feels very interesting and also permanent. I like the fact that it's usually lasered on there too, which is pretty cool.
I would love to be a perfumer. I already work with essential oils but I would love the equipment, space and training to actually extract scents from things - all kinds of things. I would be like the opposite of 'Grenouille' from Perfume.
Have you ever tried doing oil infusions? It's not as potent as essential oils, but it's fun and the result can smell just as good! I like to use coconut oil with lavender and roses personally.
Have you ever heard of a Creosote Bush? They're really incredible desert plants that can live for thousands of years. I have tons of them in my area and I pick their branches all the time and use them around my house for aromatherapy and decoration. Completely wild too, so I imagine that they're mostly pesticide free. The best part is that they smell EXACTLY like rain. :) It's very nice when you live in such a dry environment, lol.

Most of all I'd love to be able to draw cartoon characters. That'd be amazing. 3D modelling would be incredible too though.
