If u are born on feb. 29th can you legally claim to be younger?

As you probably know February 29th is leap year and only happens once every four years, so if you are born on this day can you legally claim to be 75% younger?

In addition, do you think you should or shouldn’t be allowed to?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

If you're born on 29 February, that's your birthday. There's a difference between being able to celebrate your birthday on the anniversary of your birth and having been alive for a certain number of years.

    • ya, I did some research and it turns out you legally turn the another year older on March 1rst. So if you are turning 21 and it’s not a leap year and it’s feb 28th you cannot go to the bar yet.

Even if you could, you would not be legally an adult until you made 72 trips around the sun. Because at that point your legal age would be 18.

    • ya I guess its quite a silly question lol. Was just curious about the legality of being a leap year baby. like is your birthday the 28th or 29th in a legal sense and strange histories of this causing problems. I guess it'd be a good question for google maybe not IIN.
