If someone kills themself driving drunk/speeding, i think they deserve it
If someone wants to risk their own life for the sake of saving money on a taxi or 10 minutes off their journey, then that's their business. I personally think it's stupid, but it's their life to risk. If they died then, I'd never be so heartless as to think they deserved it. Everyone does stupid things now and then but it doesn't mean we deserve to die.
But when people drink drive or go over the speed limit, they're deliberately putting other innocent people's lives at risk, just so that they can save a tiny bit of money or time. That is absolutely sickening. And then you have all these complete fucking idiots laughing and joking about it. Now I'm not a perfect law-abiding citizen who thinks the law is perfect, in fact it's grossly injust, and I'll break whatever pointless ridiculous injust law when I can. But risking killing other people, and then laughing and joking about it afterwards, in order to feel like some daredevil rebel is just fucking moronic. And this is accepted by society. People don't realise that these useless fucks are risking their family's lives. They know that they could kill your family member, but they they think it's worth the risk for a few extra bucks/minutes.
So when I hear that someone killed themselves speeding or drink driving (and thankfully didn't take anyone else with them), I just couldn't care less. I don't laugh or anything, but I don't feel any pity for them. I mean, look at the alternative. What if they hadn't crashed and killed themselves? Then they would've kept on speeding/drink driving, and would probably have ended up in another crash, only this time they would've killed someone else instead. So that's always my thinking whenever I hear of a story like that: them killing themselves could've avoided a real tragedy.
PS. I'm not the type to get all angry at killers, rapists, etc. and let my hate get the better of me, falling victim to mob mentality and calling for them to be tortured and killed or anything either. I think the death penalty is barbaric, and the way that prison is used as a form of revenge rather than rehabilitation is immoral and terrible for society. But if these drivers kill themselves while risking other people, then I just think they got their comeuppance.
