I think new guy wants me out? what should i do?

So I work at a small business that is struggling to sort of reopen because the pandemic crashed a lot of thier business. I live in a rich/college city. I managed to score cheap rent in an unorthodox arrangement. So we have a friend of boss who occasionally comes in to assist. Who has become increasingly controlling and aggressive. Which is a bit alarming because they usually are not like this. The other night I got into a conflict becuase they said no one was allowed in the dish room anymore. Which is problamatic since I close every night and everyone else always wants to dip early so I let everyone else go. So I have to check everything is clean and turned off before I leave. Recently this person has expressed they refuse to work with me, broke dishes and when I came to help them blamed it on me, and I am concerned what this behavior means for the future. Originally they seemed nice but than they suddenly changed? Some added context we are super short staffed and I am sort of been managing three positions at once and its honestly a bit of a struggle.
