I stopped to smoke cigarette its so hard. what should i do?

I stoped to smoke cigarette at November 2nd.. Sometimes i really want to smoke, i have head ache, angry behaviours.. But it just being 10-15 minute.. What should i do for won't start to smoke again?

  • Take up a sport or go to a gym and lift weights. Try to follow a training program and when you start to see improvements, it will encourage you to keep trying and it will also give you a reason not to smoke if you are trying to perform at your best.

  • I smoked for decades from my mid teens because it was what the bad girls did, gave up many times but always started again. A couple of years after I'd given up for good I was diagnosed with emphysema, which of course was developing when I was still smoking but with no symptoms and it's not curable.

    Use nicotine replacement in whatever form suits you, there are plenty of products available now. Drink lots of water, exercise, eat healthy food and keep a record of how much money you're saving. Hypnotherapy works for some people, also some specific prescription medication.

    What stopped me from ever smoking again the last time I quit was learning that in some countries where tobacco is grown child slave labour is used and the kids who don't reach their quotas are raped. The thought of supporting such a disgusting industry was enough to put me off smoking for good.

      • I'm sorry to say I don't remember which countries, but the doctor I heard being interviewed on Radio National Australia had just returned from Africa. Why do you think it can't be true? She also said that when she examined kids as young as 10 who worked in the tobacco drying sheds they had lungs like old people who'd smoked all their lives.

  • Everytime you want a cigarette, do something else. For me it was going for a run. And yeah, that includes in the night time or on your lunch at work. It's inconvenient but it worked for me.
