I see dead people (no, sorry, only bright lights)

Whenever i go to sleep i always like the room to be completely dark. But, sometimes, before i fall asleep, if there is an unexpected sound, i "see" a bright flash of light for a second. This has happened to me for many years. I wonder whether it is a form of synasthesia?

    Hmmm i have never experienced that before. Tell me more about it. What type of sound that triggers this lights that you see? Is it regularly?

      It can be any sound. But the room must be completely dark and the sound unexpected. It's just a very brief flash of white light.
