I listen to country music a lot. read below:

I listen to it a lot. I know just about every song on 99.1 on my radio, and I also know most of the adds! I listen to it everyday, that is how I know it so well. (My favorite artists are Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Walker Hays, and Thomas Rhett)

The Question is: Do I listen to it too much?

No! I listen to (country, hip-hop, rock, classical, or other..) all the time! 2
Eww country music?! Who like to listen to that?! 4
No! I am with you! I love to listen to country music! I know (almost) all the ads as well! 2
Yes! If you also know the ads, you DEFINATELY listen to the radio too much. 1

I listen to country music at work. It's nice and relaxing.
And the lyrics are good, usually about family, love, or they tell a story. No bullshit about gangstas, niggas, hoes and other nonsense.

German radio stations are absolute garbage, so I listen to American, or Bulgarian radio.

Racist to who exactly? To the lowest form of trash in the African American community, racist to the ones that keep referring to African Americans as niggers and then bitching about it if a white person uses the word?!
The ones that can't let go of the 90s gang bullshit... The ones that still think owning a gun makes you invincible and gives you a "do whatever you like" pass... The ones that refuse to be a part of society like the rest of us and bitch when they are arrested/ killed by the police... Racist to the people that glorify drug use, women abuse, violence and criminal behavior??? Fine, whatever! Fuck them!

I got nothing against the folks that earn a honest living. Don't matter what skin color, or religion they have. But I do hate criminals and I especially hate criminals who brag with their ill gotten gains.

Wow. Now you're making all of them out to be like that? That's bigotry at it's peak. Btw you're no better than them.

Tough to say... George Jones, George Strait, Willie Nelson, Shania Twain... I'm really bad with naming a favorite.

Tho country songs about family/ son-father/ son-mother are usually in my top list, good tear jerkers too.

I listen to 8.5 hours a day at work. So I'm in the same boat. Nothing wrong with liking yeehaw. They've got some good tunes. I prefer 90's over todays though.

It's awful. Of course some of them have actual talent, as with all genres. But the style is very off putting to me. It sounds lazy and uninspired.

    Colter Wall
    Hank Williams III
    Billy Strings
    DeadSouth
    Old Crow Medicine Show

Those are the best doing it right now in my opinion. I like fast paced country music I think the stuff you hear on the radio is gay. On the radio they sing in exaturated accents about their tractor and their girlfriend or whatever. They all sound the same and its a bad look for country music.

Hey I think most of them are bad to! Not all of them are bad tho! There are some really bad ones. Like Never Say Never by Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson and Breakin' Up Was Easy In The 90's by Sam Hunt. Now those are bad. Also, I have listened to Colter Wall and Hank Williams

Hank Williams 3 is different from Hank Williams 2 you probably heard the latter. Hank Williams 3 is music for rednecks before they go get in a fight or something.
