I have the urge to punt anti trumper children like watermelons

i was at a trump rally the other day and saw a 7 year old child with a "Make America Hate Again" hat. Never wanted to kick something into the center of the sun so much in my life.

I hate when people draw their kids into politics like this, and I'm talking about both sides here.

When your kid is old enough to comprehend what politics even is than you can teach them what you believe and that's about it. They will eventually decide for themselves.

My parents were conservative, I got into a liberal phase when I was young and optimistic about human nature. Then I moved to general libertarian and now I sit comfortably in right libertarianism.

Now I laugh when people say I'm far right. Far right is where you Democrats sat 15 years ago. Hell 3 decades ago I would probably be a democrat with my stances.

If JFK were alive today they'd call him a fascist.

But somehow Biden isnt even though he was a segregationist in the 70s. Funny enough some liberal argued with me the other day that "he wasnt a segregationist he just worked with segregationists!" And sent me this CNN article that put this weird spin on it. You'd have to be retarded to believe some of this shit

          "Retarded" is an outdated term.
"Progressive" is the currently accepted replacement.

And then he became VP to Obama. Funny how that worked out.

What was the phrase? If you arent democratic when you are young you have no soul, but if you arent conservative when your old you dont have brains.

Agreed. Politics have no place with children too young to understand them. Kids should be allowed to be kids!

Might I add that my liberal stage also lined up when I went full blown atheist. Suppose I'm just a fence sitter with how I just moved to the middle in both religion and politics.

You need to get it to gether if you want to engage in violence towards children that dissagree with you politically

No, as what is very likely going on there is the poor kid's parents are using him/her as a prop for their political statements, and the kid has no idea what is going on. 7-year-olds don't care about politics unless they're being indoctrinated, and even then, they're just imitating the adults in their lives as kids do. It isn't the kid at fault here, it's his/her parents that shouldn't bring a child to a political rally in the first place.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I have to disagree. I don't believe in using children as political pawns, nor pushing politics into their lives when they're too young to even understand them. Let kids be kids.

Have you actually punted a watermelon? What a waste of perfectly good food.

Take a step back and ask yourself why you feel so angry. Will adding to that hate sentiment help anything. You are only adding to it with this abuse on fruit.

Careful here everybody. From your comments and applying the same standards that the left did to the Florida, IIN is going to be labeled as the don't say politics site.

Brown said it best let kids be kids.
Believe me they are listening and absorbing everything around them anyways.
They don't need to be indoctrinated, brainwash, or pushed in any direction. If you do, it can backfire, any push them the opposite direction.

This makes u seem like a great person. You must be right about every political topic since u want to abuse children. No one can dispute your reasoning. Its just brilliant.

Yeah I'm a liberal right? My moral compass is "if it doesnt hurt anyone DIRECTLY who cares" this doesn't take in account that actions have reactions. But I'm liberal and think with my emotions.

You remind me of a friend I had in bootcamp up until A school. He was chill and then suddenly in a random conversation he brought up how the holocaust didnt exist. I inquired to see if he was joking but he was dead ass serious.

I dont have high expectations for what my friends can believe but that's going to far.

If you are just joking I'm cool with dark shit. Just add a joking emoji or somethin lol

And I dont understand what it is about that arrogant egotistical, prick that so many people just seem to just love about him. He is rude obnoxious and he things he can treat women anyway he wants. He probably thinks he can just throw money at a situation and it goes away. I was ok with his idea of the border wall, however he MB made statements that we know were not true. He must like being rude to people. He puts himself up on a 50 ft pedestal and the rest of us are all down at sea level. I wouldnt let him dog sit my dog, if I had one.

"prolife" until a child expresses a viewpoint that you're not adult enough to handle?

Their post implies that they are the anti-Trumper. An anti-Trump child would not be wearing a MAGA hat, and someone in favor of Trump would not want to kick a child wearing a MAGA hat. So, I doubt they're pro-life to begin with.

Complete misreading. OP is at a Trump rally, sees kid wearing hat that is likely mocking MAGA, and OP gets triggered.

I never understood the Us versus Them mentality. People take politics waaaay too seriously to the point where they want to hurt people who think differently. All it does is make your side look crazy. XD

Not just politics. It's like that for everything. You express an opinion different from others, you automatically have people sulking in a corner. You seriously cannot think differently from people.
