I have an idea to generate a lot of money with a pet shelter

So I thought about setting up a pet shelter with cameras and then have people pay online to feed them. I'd charge like $10 for a milk bone or something. $5 for a 1/4 cup of water. $100 gives them access to the yard all day. $30 for a toy or something. The walls would have slots that immediately open when a certain amount has been reached online so it'd be like instant gratification. If a pet is not popular it would starve but nobody would let that happen.

  • So using innocent animals to get money and if you don’t get the money you make them suffer? What kind of shitty person are you. 1/4th cup of water wtf.

You'd probably get shut down by the SPCA (or whatever your cops that handle this are called.)

You seem kinda messed up in the head. It sounds like you are more into holding animals hostage, than actually operating a legitimate shelter operation.

I think having an online service where you can see a live feed of shelter animals, and having a device in the kennel to dish out treats or toys when someone donates would be cute. But it be downright cruel to let the animals starve to death if people didn't donate, which is entirely possible because people can be neglectful or ignorant to the suffering of others. Even with traditional shelters that regularly euthanize animals who weren't adopted, euthanasia is a significantly less painful death, and wouldn't last days or even weeks. Pretty much, you had me in the first half I'm not gonna lie.

While donating for treats and seeing the animals get them is an idea, it will never work.
Especially in your case where you'll let animals starve. That shit is illegal and cruel.

    Also those prices are outrageous.
    You don't understand business bro.

Nobody is gonna spend 100 bucks on watching animals. For that money you could go to a shelter and get a pet.

It sounds like an idea but there would probably be a lot of legalities involved.
