I hate my cat

I HATE MY CAT! Everyday I threaten my family to drown it in a bucket of cold water, or put in a microwave to explode! I cant help myself. It makes the litter box smell, even with crystal litter that "Preserves odour for five weeks" I CANT STAND IT

Yeah I seriously understand where you're coming from. I have had dog's my whole life, never been without one. Never once have I wanted to hurt them in any way. I am a very relaxed person, but my cat makes both be and my fiance want to throw her against the wall.

She constantly f**ks around with everything she sees, she destructive, leaves kitty litter tracks on our kitchen counter and steals things an hides them. That's not even half of the shit she does. I've tried training her but I swear to god cats are f**king retarded, or at least she is. She is incapable of learning.

Quit hating on the guy, you know he's not serious. It's just a frustration he shares with a few people. Did you noticed it's 46% normal?

I have to say, I now hate our cats too. I threaten nearly every day now that I will take them back to the shelter! The yellow cat has created monsters out of the others. He has taught them to tear everything up. We have tried positive training and nothing works! Our bedroom is the only room I can go to that won't upset my allergies until they discovered how to open the door. They were all over my bed and everything. They stink up the house and track litter everywhere, they have ruined my curtains, my chair and ottoman, and scratched up our antique cabinet as well as scratching up our kitchen table AND pulled up the fibers on the carpet. The yellow tabby chewed through my surround sound speaker cables too! The yellow one also runs the other two out of the litter box, away from the water bowl, and away from their food. He is a rotten cat! I honestly hate him, but my husband thinks it's ok despite the agreement was all three of us will care for them but it's been left up to me being the primary care giver. Yes, my allergies and I HATE the cats but I wouldn't put them in the microwave, they may just end up missing one day and be returned to the shelter.

I've had my cat for several months and I use to like her and thought she would warm up to people when she got use to her surroundings, but she hasn't and I can't stand her. My boyfriend and I live together and wanted to get an animal we could both enjoy and when he's home or our other 2 roommates she hides. Its like I don't have a cat. She's afraid of anything and everything. A pencil could fall and she'd run. She hisses at our roommates dog, refuses to be around it or anybody else for that matter. She only likes me and I'm sure thats because I give her food. I hate cleaning the litterbox. And on top of all that, she wipes her butthole on my bed and I yell at her but she doesn't get it. I've taken her to the vet and checked her anal glands and checked her for worms, she's fine. Lately I just leave her in the closet, and I want to give her away. Take her to a shelter. I have a $200 comforter I can't put on my bed because of her butt issues. I've even seen her wipe her butt on our pillows, and my boyfriends work shirt. Which I wash all of these right away and you can even smell poop when she does it. And most mornings she likes to come lay by my head on my pillow and all I can think about is her nasty feet she uses to hide her poop are on my pillow right now. And recently she got sick and threw up on my bed which was really gross and I had to take her to the vet. I don't want to waste anymore money on a cat I don't like. Cat food and litter and everything else gets expensive and in my opinion she's not worth it. Some of my friends have cats that I really love. Part of it may be because I got her when she was a year old and she was abandoned outside in an apartment complex. I just think she's gross.

Get your cat stoned. I JUST got a kitten, who is annoying and dumb as SHIT! She's cool once I smoke her out, then she'll sit there and let me pet her and pass out. I'm so glad I work most of the day, I don't even want to know the shit she does when I'm not here...

She was probably abused and or has abandonment issues and could use some understanding and compassion. Needless to say, if you are that frustrated a Dog may be a better option for you. However difficult things are, cats are NOT Dogs, they only respond to patience and positive reinforcement, therefore they cannot be trained the same way. If you yell at her or are pissed at her all the time that is all she will ever associate you with. If they sense aggression from you, you will receive it in kind. Would you use a toilet that never flushes and then stick your feet in and walk all over the house? No. If you don't clean her litterbox daily, it's on you that it's going to smell disgusting and be unsanitary and/or cause her to become sick- which does happen. If cleaning the litterbox daily and taking her to the vet are things that you won't do, then you probably shouldn't have a cat for a pet, those are only the most basic things that come along with the territory. They need as much love, nutrition, play and attention as a Dog. Is she spaid? If not, or her litterbox is disgusting, or she is sensing your frustration and stress that's probably why she wipes her butt on stuff unless it reflects a more serious issue. It's not easy. My advice would be to give her up, because if you don't have the patience necessary to train this particular cat someone else should have the chance to give her a life where she will be loved instead of alienated and despised. Please don't get another cat.

Some moments, I don't like my cat or sister's ca (because they're more sensitive than their fun-loving brother), but just like any relationship, I try to compromise and to work through it; and I'm sure that they also don't always like me. And I realize that the animals don't exist to please me, just like I don't please them all the time. What always helps is to do what will make the cats happy/comfortable/safe, and in turn, I smile. When the kitties are happy, then they are fun/friendly/outgoing. With one of them, we play tag and hide-and-go-seek; it's so much fun.

Don't have a cat as a pet if you intend to harm it or expect it to act like an outgoing, submissive dog; please, find a better home for it or bring it to a shelter. If you must, release it out in nature (as long as it still has its claws). Putting a creature that likes sunshine, fresh air, climbing, scratching, and running around inside of a closet is just cruel; that's like prison, solitary confinement. It's bound to make any creature loopy. Also, cats all have different personalities; don't expect them to all be the same.

If you want to work with the cat, I suggest you contact Jackson Galaxy:
    <a href="http://animal.discovery.com/tv-shows/my-cat-from-hell/about-this-show/about-my-cat-from-hell.htm" rel="nofollow">http://animal.discovery.com/tv-shows/my-cat-fro...</a>

But cats don't speak English. They do a lot of nonverbal communication with the eyes, which they use with people too. They tend to meow to communicate with us. But amongst other cats, they rely more on nonverbal communication.

Cats are harder to train than dogs because they think a lot more. They have way more neurons than dogs do. Dogs will do things because YOU want it to, and cats will do things because THEY want to; that's how humans are to. If your cat is doing something physically bad, like scratching or moving something, you can use water and spray the cat while firmly saying "no." But you also need to reinforce the good things that the cat does, using the sound of your voice to let it know, maybe stroking it's head saying "good" in a sweet manner and/or giving it a treat; they love Temptations treats.

Cats are also a bit more sensitive and complicated than dogs. If you want to connect with your cat, you need to meet it on his/her terms; they're not stupid, and like people, they consider "what's in it for me." But unlike people, if you take the time to understand them and consider what makes them happy, comfortable, safe, etc., they will in return show gratitude and affection, and you can then train them to do the things that you want them to do. Reciprocal relationship.

ps...they have those leash harnesses when you can take your cat for a walk. All cats love outdoors, but some may be more shy to it at first, with all the sounds, new imagery, even wind. But if you go to a calm area, you might bond with your cat by walking with it. Even playing with your cat will make it friendlier. After all, being indoors provides no mental stimuli or physical challenges. Cats do get bored, scared, anxious when they don't have things to do. Really, imagine if you were stuck inside all day with no computer, books, or anything to do. Madness.

    Maybe this site will help:

Everyone that has commented on this with distaste...find something better to do with you're life than comment on forums you shouldn't even be reading anyway. He wants to know if it is normal and why; not that he should go die or whatever. You guys are clueless. ANYWAY...I really dislike my cat also for the same reasons. It is insanely hard to control and from my observations, it seems like it's because of a type of pheromone they give off when they feel strong emotion(happy/anxious/etc.). I will be just fine and coping with having to deal with her extreme neediness and the next, she will be licking herself, purring like a lion, or be screaming in the middle of the night(because I have to lock her in a room overnight) and I just want to punch her little head in. And I am by NO means an angry person. I listen to zeppelin and am working on my chemical engineering degree. I'm a pretty chill guy. I have never felt a desire to hurt something, and it's overwhelming!! It has to be some sort of genetic predatory instinct. Do you have a tabby?

Probably because this isn't really normal behavior. I've met people who greatly disliked animals, but they also knew that a living creature behaving as such creatures normally do does at least deserve to have that respected. Dogs have teeth and bite when they're angry, so you don't approach angry dogs and then get indignant when they bite you, do you? Cats pee, it's a normal bodily function that we all engage in, and the cat has the decency to even urinate where it's supposed to, yet the OP wants to horrifically and cruelly murder it just for being born a cat? Nope, not normal and if you feel the same than neither are you. It's illogical behavior and a sign that you may lack compassion, empathy, understanding and respect for others. Makes you look self-centered at best and a "bad person" (aka having slight sociopathic tendencies) at worst. That's not exaggerating, there is a difference between being mature about your likes and dislikes and choosing to either get over it or dissociate yourself from which that bothers you so. Then there's wanting to be violent against them and having murderous thoughts against something that is just being itself. Not fucking normal, dude. You're the type of people that would slap their kids for wetting their beds by accident just 'cause it inconvenienced you a little bit. Badddd =/.

Get A Dog. Getting frustrated is normal but if you're THAT frustrated, nothing good can come of it other than the cat resenting you for your aggression because it DOESNT understand, and you resenting it in kind. Don't see how that's a win situation for anyone.

Yes its normal, I feel you, I hate mine too (it's actually my boyfriend), for the same reasons u do and more. It sucks to hate stuff, it makes me shake and have my heart beat really fast each time I do (I'm sure u know what I mean) and I hate him for hating him if it makes sense. I love other people's cats though, especially if their color is light, and if they're old and fat and don't move much. Mine's young and I never asked for this kind of cat. He's the opposite color and hair length that I wanted. Besides the person who gave it to my bf is pretty dirty and crazy herself. It shouldn't have ended up in my house. I hope he goes soon, and yours too! Happy new year 2011. Cheers ;)

Cats need to have a clean environment, love and attention to be happy and healthy. They are not ornaments, they need to play and have affection not resentment if they're to be happy. If all a cat does is lie around and be fat then they are not happy and definitely not healthy. Someone else's poor conditioning of the animal can be corrected if you care enough to have patience and effort. If you don't like the Cat because of what it looks like then get a different one or not one at all, I hope you have gotten him another home by now. It's up to you, whether you hate stuff, no one makes you do that but you. It's easier to be lazy and hate the source of the problems then try and fix them. Maybe you're not an animal person, or cats must be the most misunderstood domesticated animal there is. I've never thought it was rocket science. I've very, very rarely had a problem training any cat, or Dog for that matter, and that includes the many abandoned and abused one's I've sheltered in my life. The ones I feel unequipped to help I give to farmers. At least then they'll have an okay life with lots of freedom. Good luck

Thanks buddy for your input. Fast forward 2015. We still have that long-haired cat (which is a "she" by the way) that I found so annoying 4 years ago. But we have another one, a grey tabby that is still not fixed; a tom. I love this one. He's my baby! He tears things up and is far from being as disciplined as my boyfriend (now husband)'s long-haired black cat but no matter what he breaks or messes up in the house, I find him so cute and can't even get myself to punish him. The other cat though, the long-haired black one, I still have such a hard time loving her. It just doesn't make sense. She's the sweetest, most submissive and obedient being ever. My tom is so dumb and such a mess compared to her. But I find him soooo cute. I just wish I could love the black long haired one the same as I love my tom, it feels so good to love. And by the same token so exhausting and sad to hate. We can't get rid of it, my husband loves that black cat. I mean it's not as bad as what it used to be, most of the time I don't even care her being around but for unknown reasons, the few last days have brought up this inner battle between me and my lack of love for that black cat. It's ridiculous and lame. But I confess it to everyone. I feel the more people I tell, the more likely I will be to overcome this and love both cats equally. I heard being "transparent" and being honest about eveything what's wrong with us is the best way to heal. Pray definitly helps too :) If anyone is struggling with the same lame problem as I am, remember people, you may feel terrible but this "dark" thing in you is NOT you. Your job is to be strong, choose to do the right thing and fight the bad, trusting in the strength/love and wisdom that is freely given to you if you simply ask. It will feel much better in all areas of your life trust me, yes, even from solving an issue having to do with a simple cat. Okay well rumbling about my issue just gave me a hint of a solution, cool. I'll just do that then. Thanks guys and good luck to you all!!!

stench of cat poop i can tolerate, as long as he poops at the designated places provided i clean up everyday, it's no problem.
but i think you'll hate the cat more for being the little asshole it is.

(even yelling for clawing at you) he will continue the behavior. It will take a little while but just put him in another room or ingnore him altogether for at least 30 mintues when he does this. Then he'll associate the bad behavior with being alone not with attention from you, which is probably all the litter dudes trying for. gooood luck

TRY CLEANING it! It's not rocketscience guys! Unless you figured out how to train your cat to clean it himself (did you? tell me!!!). Litterbox duty is a small responsibility that comes with the territory of owning an animal. If you do it every day it doesn't smell, and is way easier to clean the more often it's done. It's akin to picking up your dog's poop or flushing your own toilet. Would you use, let alone step in, a toilet that never, ever flushed and filled to the brim with your own... leavings? if you're not willing to add a 30 second ritual to your day to make you and your kittie a little happier maybe you should choose a diff kind of pet? Good luck to you though

I have 2 kittens, nine months old, brother and sister. Thhe female is the devil incarnate. The boy has been fixed and he's alot calmer but i swear im tempted to give the evil bitch a full historectomy myself. I do try to give her attention and play with her but she doesnt even like being touched most of the time. And i swear she gets jeallous when the boy (Elvis) gets snuggles and love. She just stares the whole time with this nasty scowel. She (Mariah) is always fed, i try to play with her , she has plenty of toys but still insists on destroying things. And not cheap things only the expensive things... Leather sofa, she chewed thru a thick power cord to a huge floor lamp rendering it useless. I cant even have a home phone because she chews through that and has chewed through 2 phone chargers and countless earphones.
Her latest obsesseion is the christmas tree and im tempted to duck tape her to it for a night to teach her a lesson. She has even jumped on the coffee table and swatted a full glass of water right in front of me and then looked at me for my reaction.
Ahhhhhhhhh, how much does cat fur go for these days anyways?!!

Kitties can be very hard to train, try looking up some stuff on training tips, and why it's important to always use positive reinforcement instead of training them like they're dogs (with discipline and the like.) Very good luck to you. If they aren't fixed this will cause crazy behavior, and Kats LOVE Xmas TRees period. try one of those lazer pointers maybe that'll help get some energy out.

If you have to hold yourself back from hurting the animal then take it to a shelter rather than cause it pain. Even if your family is mad at you, it would be better for the animal.

Unless you're a 10 year old, or just trying to get a rise out of people, if I knew where you were I'd probably drown you myself... because that's what frustrating animals deserve, according to you. I hope you go away where no one will have to deal with your self absorbed abusive @SS ever again, except your hopefully HUGE and surpassingly Sociopathic new cellmate.

On this particular subject... I feel that you, unless you were abused yourself, are less than scum and nothing more than a sickness, a draining ROT on the progression of humanity. A stupid, pathetic waste.. an invalidic embarrassment to our species that is LONG overdue in serving it's only useful purpose to nature, to rot away.

On that note I think I've wasted way more time than is healthy on this one. I am out.

Cats have just as much right to live as you or I. Who are you to kill it? Try being kind to it, rather than hating it. And if the litter box smells, try cleaning it, or let the cat defecate outside (if possible), or get air freshener. I'm sure it's s**t doesn't smell any worse than yours.

I'm at the point where I'm looking for a newborn kitten that I must bottle feed because I feel like my bitch of a cat may not attack a baby... I'm glad I'm not working cuz I'm afraid of coming home to a dead baby. I don't know why she is so hostile considering she has mothered two litters. I completely understand. I got a cat, it died in months. I loved that cat so much, it was a little angel. Then we got two cats and I absolutely hate the one. I want to throw him down a flight of stairs. He is such an annoying piece of garbage. I used to like the other one. Now she is starting to act like him and I can't do it. He won't shut up when he is in their room, but I can't let them out when I am at work or if I have anything at all that needs my attention because I will actually kill one of them if they ruin my furniture, which they keep trying to do. I can hear him meow through the entire house. I want to beat the life out of this cat. My problem is that my boyfriend really likes them. I want to get rid of them. I don't want anything more to do with these cats. I have my boyfriend take care of them for the most part, but I have to do all of the things that make you more mad at cats, like doing their nails, giving medicine, and giving baths. I am at such a loss, because I don't want these cats, I don't want to hurt them but they make me so mad that I can see myself doing it. I feel like they are wasting my money and taking up space in my house.

It's actually very normal. Most likely, you are a dog person. If not, you're someone who is definitely not a cat person. I, myself, have recently gotten a cat (( where I've always lived with dogs and I adore dogs with all my heart )) and I am constantly wanting to get rid of him. He's rude, ungrateful, gross, annoying, and constantly messes with my dogs.

Dear cat owners. Cats are curious animals and sometimes that curiosity can be destructive. They also have different personalities, likes and dislikes. Figure these out to get them to like you. Also take one broad sheet of newspaper roll it up and whop them with it when they piss you off. As you are beating them yell "No!" Hit your self with it. Doesn't hurt. It's just the noise and the threat that does the trick. They can and will learn. I have one cat who is super destructive, but when I see him about to do something all I have to do is say "quit" before he does it and he stops. I have another cat who has the very annoying habit of howling repeatedly at night. Again all I have to do is say "quit" and she stops. They both like me and sit in my lap and play with me. But they for damn sure will not be climbing up the curtains or clawing up the furnature. And to the OP you can't make shit not stink get over it.

I understand completely. I have 2 cats I've had since they were kittens. One's 15 and the other is 6. They've always been a bit of a pain but they really amped it up these past few years. I've had to move 4 times in the past 5 years and they've ruined every single home I've lived in by pissing and puking all over the GD place. I have the scoop free kitty litters that automatically remove solid waste. One tray is supposed to last one cat a month. I have 2 cats and 2 litters and these villainous cretins have decided they're going to use one tray for number 1 n one tray for number 2. It's costing me 2x as much money on this very expensive litter. The older one also recently decided he no longer eats dry food and went on a hunger strike. I spent a friggin fortune trying to find something he'll eat. It took months but I finally found something and now he has the nerve to turn his nose up at that. It's driving me nuts. He meows at me nonstop to feed him something else even though there's a full can of food in his bowl. He's also gone from vomiting a mouthful of cat food to projectile vomiting his entire stomach content of the most disgusting, vile, putrid fluid ALL OVER MY HOME!!! He gets himself in a panick when he's puking and literally runs all over my house spraying everything with what I can only describe as confused diarrhea. He recently baptized my bed with his sickening serum and I had to spend over $500 replacing all the pillows, sheets and mattress topper. Now I won't let them in my bedroom at all and they fight me night and day over it. They'll whine and paw at the door all night long and since finding an apartment with a bedroom door that closes and latches is apparently akin to finding a unicorn that farts money, I now have to barricade myself in or out of my bedroom every day. When the door does open, they race into the bedroom and refuse to leave forcing me to chase them around the bedroom to get them back out again so I can close and block the door for the day. The other one is the pisser. She'll piss right next to a perfectly clean kitty litter right in front of me and hiss at me if I try to stop her or chase her away. She's also attacked me twice now drawing some pretty serious blood. Both incidents resulted in 3 pretty deep holes in my lower legs that took over a month to heal. She's a mean spirited vicious cat who doesn't like anybody or anything and only mildly tolerates me or the other cat. She can be affectionate and sweet when she wants to be but she's mostly just a nightmare. She's constantly attacking my older cat and literally makes life miserable for the both of us. I've blocked her usual pee spots but I'm pretty sure she's picked new spots because that room is so saturated with the stench of cat urine that it makes my eyes burn. It's so overwhelming it's impossible to pinpoint so I now have to spend even more money on a black light and a proper cleaning. I too am at my wit's end. I hope to be buying a house in about a year and if something doesn't change, they will not be accompanying me.

dude, i have the same problem i was actually just looking up whether this is normal or not. ive always loved animals and have always owned a couple cats and a dog or two since i was a child. my oldest dog zoe is 16 years old. i love cats, and i loved this cat that i have now...when it was a kitten...now all of a sudden for the past couple of months i cant stand the sight of her. ive actually gone as far as trying to give her to someone else, with no takers. shes not a bad cat except she thinks she has to eat constantly ( yes, shes been checked, no worms or anything of that nature) but yeah, constantly crying to be fed no matter how much she eats, always getting on the table and trying to eat out my kids plates and just all in all being annoying, even when shes just sitting there, she gets on my nerves so bad it infuriates me and i dont know why since i enjoyed having her only a few months ago. i dont think your weird when it comes to hating your cat i love all my animals, except her. i know alot of people who wont even let a cat near them, and if said cat does make the mistake to come near them they find themselves propelled into a wall.

To be honest I don't know if its normal to feel that way. I personally have a love hate relationship with my cat. I recently adopted a Persian named Max whom was on his way to the pound because he bit a resident at an assisted living center. I intervened and took the cat in. At first I love his personality. He was a jerk simply put. Didn't really like me or anyone and he would often chase me and smack me with his kitty soft paws, declawed of course. Eventually he just became this boring nagging animal that still only required attention when he wanted it. Perfect definition of a cat, I know. I do love the Max, but once in a while I get the urge to terrorize him. Chase him around the house, ruffle him up, and scare him with the trash bag once in a while by shaking the bag. I don't neglect care shoot sometimes he eats better then me. Although sometimes I wounder if I have problems because sometimes when I look at his smoothed Persian face I feel like squeezing him. A lot of it is because in all reality he is cute at times. Aside from that my last cat was so much like a dog. He tagged along with you, talked to you, and used the bathroom outside. Never had I ever had to change a litter box. "Oreo," his name would walk by the door and boom he would use nature as his toilet. Maybe I'm missing my cool cat to much and once in a while I take it out on Max....

For starters all you cat lovers saying that the guy should be killed. Shame on you for putting a humans life behind that of a cat. All you cat owners who let their "free spirit" of a cat wander around outside at night or even day, you morons don't realise the damage to native fauna that cats do. Also I don't see any of you claiming responsibility for the presents left in other peoples yard. Normally around their veggies. Food for humans! The diseases that cats spread and the mess they make, all are reasons that cats shouldn't be let outside. I feel no sympathy to owners whose cat is run over by a car because of such. Yes it's normal to hate a partners cat. If the cat is hateable. Other cats who behave properly I have no hatred towards. But for one partner to accept living in the same house as an evil cat, I say eliminate the old cat and replace the cat for a better one. By allowing these cats to breed only passes on the defective gene.

I have had pets throughout my life, but for some reason, I have a kitten who is little shit-bag. I've trained her to stay away from certain things, and for the most part, she does a good job. But oh my goodness, if something doesn't go her way, I'll enter the kitchen to my table mats on the floor, the trash tumbled over, torn blinds, the TV antenna on the ground, and even some magazines with missing and chewed up pages. She makes me so angry that I have yelled at her and at one occasion, I picked her up by her back fat and spanked her. I felt guilty afterwards and never did it again, but never has a pet given me this much trouble as this one cat. Don't get me wrong, I love her but she's like that compulsive psychotic friend that you have to try to be better than.

My girlfriend and I have lived together for two years and I love her but she brought home a kitten 6 months ago without me even knowing about it. I never wanted a cat and tried to get her to get rid of it many times. my girlfriend gets upset and cries when i tell her how much i hate her cat and that she has to get rid of it. This cat is female and is not friendly towards me at all. She scratches my furniture constantly, scratches walls, cupboards and other things as well. She has a ton of toys and things to scratch but insists on destroying my furniture. The cat flees when I approach it and does surprise attacks on me all the time. It bites me, hisses at me and claws me all the time. The cat is seriously retarded and doesnt know a thing. My girlfriend thinks everything it does is super cute and rewards it all the time for bad behaviour . I have considered throwing this cat in the woods to fend for itself because of the problems it creates between me and my girlfriend. She refuses to get rid of it or get it declawed. I try really hard to be nice to the cat but i refuse to live with it until it dies of natural causes or until we break up. I NEED SUGGESTIONS because nothing solve my problem. Im really starting to resent my girlfriend because I hate this effing cat so much and she refuses to do anything about the cat. I wish every day the cat will drop dead. Not to mention it jumps up on counters and tables all the time and wont get off unless i get up and get close to her. We can never leave any food out cause she will get into it.

They always know when you don't like them and sense hostility, it's very difficult to not get angry, but you have to try. Also if every single time you have contact with it is negative, then the cat will only accosiate you with bad things. You can condition them but it takes time. Using a water bottle to squirt them when they go up on things they shouldn't has worked on every cat I've ever owned, but you need to be consistent. So if she's rewarding it for it's bad behavior, undoing that damage may take a really, really long time. It knows that no matter how it acts it will get attention. start by putting it alone, in a room, for 30 minutes, every time it does something it's not supposed to. Eventually, the cat will associate being ignored with the bad behaviors. The girlfriend will want to go get him when he cries but DONT, LEAVE HIM. He will be fine. IF she won't even try or compromise, you should find a new girlfriend. Sorry but relationships are two sided, it can't be all about her. The fact that you are trying to find a solution says a lot of good about you, so if she won't even try, you gotta do what's best for yourself. Not all kitties are bad, I hope you have better luck next time.

If you still have this a-hole try to train it your own way. Whenever she climbs tables and counters, have pans of water ready for her to jump on and I guarantee you, she will never do it again. Have a spray bottle ready and every time she hisses or is violent, spray her. If out of the corner of your eye you can sit her ready to be her retarded self, rattle a tin can full of stones, coins, or marbles. But above all, bribe her with mayonnaise. Cats love mayonnaise.

He constantly growls and hisses at everything, pisses and shits every where but in the litter box, is mean and I hate him. I keep threating my fiancee that I am going to throw him outside or take him to be put to sleep. He is 8 years old and constantly rips his fur out and bleeds all over the house. He also has seizures, which I do feel bad for him because of it but if he was solely my cat, I'd have put him to sleep by now, he doesn't have a quality life because he hides all the time and is miserable. I get mad at my fiancee for allowing him to suffer like he does. It is extreamly selfish of him to allow him to keep living the way that he does. He never pets the cat or plays with him and when I do, he just growls at me or hisses and then goes and shits some where... I am fed up!
