Those funking creatures that have no off button, making annoying noises until you remove the battery or set it on fire. I hate then so much, I had one when I was a child and it was 400BRL$ trown away
I wish my parents had never brought me this, I know they were trying to give a nice gift but this abomination gave me nightmares, with it's annoying voice and ugly face.
Those things costs 400 dollars?! God damn... that's playstation money for a chirpy plastic owl thing that speaks a nonsense language.
Still, not as annoying as one of those barky toy dogs, or drums. Seriously, if you buy someone's kid a drum as a gift - you're an asshole.
I never had a full size Furby, but had the little mini ones they gave away at McDonald's back in the day. I liked the different colors they came in, but don't remember having much of an opinion on them otherwise. Mine did not talk, fortunately!
I did have something called "Pete the Repeat Parrot", which was a parrot that would mock everything you said. I got the biggest kick out of that thing and recorded EVERYTHING with it; songs, the TV, me saying every stupid thing imaginable, and even my mom yelling "turn that damn thing off!" 🤣 The "off" switch didn't work on it, so my mom ended up throwing it out!
There were rumours in my school that they came alive when you weren’t watching and could even move by themselves. My sisters had a pink one and it gave me the creeps, unfortunately it gave them the creeps too so instead of living in their room it lived in the bathroom and made me scared to go to the loo at night in case it started to talk or tried to cast spells on me.
