I gnaw/nibble my hand when i'm distracted?

I do this thing when I'm distracted (especially watching videos or so on) where I kind of gnaw on/nibble my left hand. It's nothing harmful, I never bite hard enough to draw blood or seriously feel pain, but it often leaves teeth marks that last at least a couple minutes. I think my skin is stretchy by average standards, so I can kind of hold a bit of the back of my hand in my teeth and kind of have it hang there for a bit, or I bite the thenar region (fleshy part on the palm below the thumb), or the skin between the thumb and forefinger. Once again, it's not harmful or anything, I just kind of default to it... I *think* I might do it more when I'm kind of anxious but if I get too anxious I just stop that and bite my lips or dig my nails into my arms instead so... I'm not entirely sure. Does anyone else do that? Is it weird?

Just because you do it does not make it normal.
