Just overall bad and crappy... two massive recessions, 9/11, fucked up wars, beheadings, bad music, bad movies, shitty cell phones. Hated that decade.
Once you get to a certain age, all the years and decades just start to blur.
For me, anything 2000 and on is just a blur.
This one aint too great either. SJWs have gone fully rabid, the Western birth rate is still critical, debt is still pilling up, etc, etc.

For america, it wasn't the best, but it was not even close to being the worst either. The 1860s had the civil war, the 1910s had WW1 and the Spanish flu. The 1930s had the great depression. The 1940s had WW2. The 1960s had the peak of the Cold War, with the cuban missile crisis, vietnam war and the assasination of JFK. The 1970s Had the oil crisis, watergate scandal and disco, etc.
Not even close if you look at U.S. history but I'll give you that for the most part it sucked.

Woah, we have a blasphemer up in here! 2000s were one of the best decades, but my opinion is biased since all my nostalgia is in the 2000s.

I feel you! I was born too late to remember the 90s so my rose-tinted childhood memories feature early YouTube videos, preppy celebrities in low rise jeans showing off their tramp stamps, crazy haired multiply pierced emos everywhere, thinking anyone who had snake on their phone was beyond cool and a soundtrack of pop punk and melodramatic emo rock.
The whole decade was “so bad it’s good”.
The all around worst music decade imo for sure. not saying there wasn't any good tunes, but it seemed to be the beginning of musics end, in the sense that you generally had to dig a lot deeper to find the good stuff ..just like now-a-days but maybe even worse back then id say.
It was a shitty decade for me too. The .com crash and the bank bailouts. The economy was terrible.
