It’s as if I do not care about people I do not know and am close to. I feel there emotions and what they’re going though. I just don’t care. I care for the people I know and are close to. But random people on the street for example. Or co workers I don’t interact with regularly and don’t talk to outside of work. I could care less about.
Normal. I only care about my family and my closest friends. I'd go to war, or sacrifice myself for them. My parents, my girlfriend and my 4 bestest friends - the only people that matter.
Everyone else - nah... If I can make a profit from them, they are good. If not - to hell with 'em.
This has been a sort of philosophy in my family ever since the reds came to power in Bulgaria.
I at least try to have empathy for most people. There are certain people that I don't give a flying fuck about though. I don't care about violent criminals, rapists, child molesters, animal abusers, and people who prey upon the those who are vulnerable; such people are garbage, and don't deserve empathy... at least not from me!
Those strangers just may be the person who gives you your next dream job, saves your life or becomes your in law. Don't be so quick to write people off just because you don't know them yet. They may have an important role in your future.
Oh I don’t give a rats ass about 99.9999998% of the population that saves around 150 for various artist and the like that I have on top of family and such.
