I can't focus on my work

I just look at it and I CAN'T.
I know the basic crap I have to write for it but then I get angry thinking about what possessed my teacher to give us this stupid bull. I can't drop the class either because I have to be a good student and whatnot.
I don't care about the class, I don't care about the AP test, I just want to pass and leave but trying to write an essay's worth of homework is so frustrating sometimes.
I just want to finish it the day of in school, I don't want to do it now.

Is there anything that can help me focus? Or make the work FUN? ANYTHING, PLEASE.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Before starting, you can imagine the beginning and then ending of the essay, and just let yhour mind be in synch with it. Even though it is not fun, it can be with the right thinking. Imagine yourself in the story, and see what happens.
    Take care.

I've heard that chewing gum and listening to classical music helps you concentrate.

  • I hear you. I HATED homework in high school and I had hours assigned most nights. Anyway just pick a time to start, for example 5pm, and just start at that time. Write until 6pm, take a break to eat dinner, then power through it after dinner, taking breaks as needed. School is overrated nonsense, but unfortunately you have to just do it given your situation and age.
