I will miss my dogs, children, family, and friends, but I know this is what's right. God has spoken to me and I am ready to give my life to him. Why would he give you life, only for you to give it up halfway through? You're supposed to live it till the end. You didn't hear anything from him, you're just confused and going through a challenging time right now. I think you know that deep down, that's why you're telling us, so that someone will tell you what you need to hear. So here it is: You need to get help (and there's no shame in that). Start by talking to your doctor, and then phone a suicide hotline. Then work on making life more manageable for yourself. It won't be easy, but you can do it. Good luck.
Assuming you are Christian or of a similar faith, suicide is typically very frowned upon and considered an enormous sin. I wouldn't consider it if I were you, but for more reasons than that.
Besides that, your dogs and children need you, and all of your loved ones will be devastated. It is never worth it.
I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother and for what you're going through, but please keep going, for your loved ones if anything.

I too gave my soul to God many years ago. I'm really not ready to leave this life because of all the things you mentioned, however, I've lived a good life and I'm at peace if it was to happen.

I think it's disgustingly anti-human what you're doing, religion often is us lying (seriously), and there's no reason to suck it to us while we're in hell, and don't get this arse backwards, I happen to be a Bible-thumping Christian, in fact I think of God and I think it's my choice what I do, and think God is an angry deity who is only happy that you believe in him. God give you grace. there's a bunch of God haters here, as soon as they hear the word " God" they automatically start hating most likely because they think of a god they hate who sets rules for people or whatever their reason. I've never understood theists who think atheists are just angry at whichever god. We just don't believe in it either way. It's true I have some big problems with the god of the Abrahamic religions for things like his treatment of women and homosexuals, but even if I thought he sounded amazing and that him not being real would be horrible, I still wouldn't believe in him. It's all about the evidence, not what I personally want to be true. To quote one of the most widely known atheists, Dawkins, "I wish there was."
For example, I really didn't like Trump. Never once did I just decide he wasn't real. How insane would I have to be to decide Trump didn't exist because I didn't like him? And he's just a person. Imagine doing that with GOD. Crazy!
No. I'm an atheist simply because all the evidence debunks religion regardless of my personal feelings, just like the evidence confirms Trump is real.
I've often suspected that the fact that theists even _think_ atheists are capable of that is actually more telling of the way they themselves think, indicative of the ability to simply believe what one wants.
