I am 63 and get painful charlie horses in my glutes? ass

what should I do about these painful Charlie Horses in my ass glutes? I use to exercise every day until I started to get too much calf and now my ass glutes? I have arthritis.

    The two most common shortages that cause cramps and charlie horses are potassium and magnesium.

    potassium & zinc magnesium supplements & foods

    i work in the heat sometimes and get cramps in my thighs & calves and that helps

      Not the OP but I eat bananas to keep away leg cramps. Definitely potassium. I heard somewhere that the quinine in tonic water can help too.
