I accidentally sprayed perfume into my eye, will it cause any damage?

I had a body spray bottle in my hand, and I didn't notice the nozzle was facing towards my face, and I sprayed thinking the spray would come out away from where I was facing and instead...I got it in my eye. without panicking, I rushed myself into the bathroom and tried as much as I could to flush out the chemicals, but I do remember the moment it happened it was a painful burning sensation.

My vision is still good but I can still feel the discomfort. I have a damp cloth nearby to cool it down, but I'm wondering if there would be any damage to my eye?

As long as you flushed out the affected area, you're fine. Your eye might be irritated for a bit, but that will eventually go away.

You will be blind in 5 days. Start shopping for designer eyepatches.

What's the purpose of the eye patch. I thought it was only if you lost an eye and it looked hideous. If the eye is just blind there is no need to patch it.
