I’m just really lost

lots of people say that school is a waste of time and i know many successful people who dropped out of school to do their true passions or something but imagining myself actually doing that seems so unrealistic, i drop out of school then? i struggle to find a job ? why do responsibilities start so early sheesh

How do you want to live your future?

That's a question that has changed many people's lives.

Not what you want to do. Too many people chose the vehicle before they chose the destination - only to later out find that their chosen vehicle is not capable of getting them where they want to actually go. Then they often give up...

Spend some time thinking about how you want to live your life - what you want to do with your life. Travel, help people, start a charity, etc... What are your personal drams and goals. How do you want to change the world.

Then when you figure that out - it won't be boring to chase that IF you can find the vehicle that will get you there (assuming you fuel and maintain the vehicle).

I wish you the best with this,

most people don’t get their dream job until they’re 30 years old. there’s really no rush to figure out what you wanna do in life, take things at your own pace.

Now here's something you dont hear. While yes there are some people who are extremely successful without school. The vast majority do not and often get forgotten about.

Stay in school kids. College is optional though.

I would just study something you feel passionately about, or something related to your passion.

That way you will enjoy it and have the ability to fall back on a degree; lots of jobs require this. Additionally, further study is a huge learning curb, alongside meeting amazing people on the way.

I've heard a lot more people say they wish they went to more school than less.

I don't know what level of school you're talking about or where you're located, but most jobs where I'm from require at least a GED and if you want to get paid decent, the more school the better.

Unless you're very smart and motivated and already achieving things outside of school, with a clear plan of action (in other words a total self-starter) - I wouldn't recommend dropping out just on the basis that some people can do it and still be successful. There are drug addicts who get clean and can still become successful too, I wouldn't recommend that either.
