How often is normal to order “restaurant food deliveries”?

Just wondering as far as if you order delivery? Say you call a pizza place or Chinese place and say you wanna place and order to be delivered to your address? How often is normal I guess to “eat delivery” or “pay for food from delivery drivers”?

  • I haven't ordered delivery in a long time. I usually only do that with pizza, and it's pretty rare that I do. Once a year or less, usually.

    • Why? Do you not like pizza? Or do you bake your own pizza? One friend of mine likes baking pizza. But I prefer to just eat.

      • I usually like to make my own pizza at home when I get the craving for it (usually with leftover marinara from making spaghetti), though I do enjoy a good old Pizza Hut pizza and breadsticks as a treat every now and then.

I also live pretty close to an array of different restaurants, so have picked it up on the way home more often than ordering delivery.

I guess I just never really think to order it and have it delivered to my house very often, but I do enjoy it!

  • Very rarely. My partner eats out alot though. A few times a week.

  • As often as you can afford. Busy people have less time to cook. Don't waste your time with pointless shit when someone else could do it for you.

You stimulate the economy by paying people to cook for you and deliver to yours. You save on time and gas driving back and forth.

  • Once in a while but that is because I'm trying to do it less since I keep thinking about it and my urge keeps telling me yes.
