    I’m actually just a little bit sentimental about it, I like that it’s layout and everything has barely changed since I started using it, it’s like this one constant in a world where everything internet and tech changes all the time, it actually brings me some comfort. And more and more there’s this real lack of anonymity on the internet and in life in general, registering for sites or having to show vaccination certificates and ID everywhere you go, it just makes one feel ticketed, always. Here I just come and go and I keep a degree of randomness which is really quite liberating

      More of the internet should've stayed the same. Now every site follows one of three identical templates:

      1. Social media layout with ads thrown in disguised as actual content

      2. Shitty "article" sites like BuzzFeed, Vox, etc.

      3. Blogs

      It's incredibly rare for a site to have a distinct and unique look about it, like IsItNormal
