Has everyone thought of suicide in some point of their lives?

I feel like everyone has had a story regarding suicidal thoughts. I don’t know if this is just people trying to make their lives seem more interesting or if it’s actually common to have these thoughts at some point.

Just because it may be common doesn’t mean it’s ok, if you’re struggling with suicidal thoughts I strongly recommend you seek help.

You're sick in the head if you think it's funny to make fun of suicide.

Are you retarded? You're being everything that you say you are against. You're writing hate speech and you're also being a bigot because you attack another with no argument. What a fking hypocritical dirt-bag you are! Gross.

And you're also a snowflake. Yuck.

Don't tell others to seek help when you're the mentally weak suicidal depressed maniac.

Actually, not true. The bigoted comments are proof. So not a hypocrite.

          You're just projecting.

You need to seek help because you're literally making fun of the disabled community.

You didn't prove any comment being bigoted. You just attacked someone for a joke he made with no argument. That make you the bigot not him.

"You need to seek help because you're literally making fun of the disabled community."

Are you really this stupid? Who made fun of what? Do you even understand the difference between making a joke vs making fun of someone?

Stop being a fking retard on the internet and get a life

            "You're just projecting."

Projecting what you absolute retard? Just throwing words around doesn't mean anything, you need to make it make sense.

He made a joke about a serious topic. That's offensive to suicidal people. So he's the bigot.

You used a slur that's used for disabled people and did it again. Therefore, you're making fun of the disabled community. So you're ableist.

Projecting your bigotry onto me. So I'm not throwing around words because you're actually projecting. Seek help.

People who help in this subject matter are creepy and paranoid, in my experience. They don’t treat you as a normal person.

People who have had legitimate thoughts of suicide don't brag about it to other people to appear more interesting. They're ashamed of those thoughts and don't want anyone to find out

I don’t think I have no, but I’ve felt very tired, depressed and I’ve mentally checked out of life before. It was more that I wished it all away, and wanted a break from it all, but not inflicting a permanent one upon myself. Things can always get better. I was very depressed as a teenager and that started self destructive behaviours but if I hadn’t held onto the tiniest shred of hope and survived that I would never have met the love of my life, who I’m with now.

It's rather common for people to think of suicide at some point in their lives. In most cases it's just a brief visit to the subject and they never approach it again until certain end of life scenarios due to failing health.

There is a modern recognition growing that it's not really suicide for a person with significant health issues who is in an end of life state to chose the timing and conditions of their own death.

Oh boy you don't know the half of it. I thought about it many times. But usually it's just a fantasy and I don't actually have any intention of doing it. I think "what if I did this? How would anyone react?" etc
