Feeding my cat hamster food?

I threw some hamster food at my cat as a joke (It's small, don't worry, it didn't hurt her) and she ate it. When she sits by the hamster's food jar, I give her the green curvey one that she really seems to dig. Is this okay? She likes it, and doesn't seem to have any problems with it. I've given her some for about two weeks, in all maybe 6 pieces of it. I wanted to ask before I did it any more, in case some of you think it could hurt her.

i mean my cat and dog eat each others food and nothing happens so idk. i mean animals can eat a lot of food without getting sick so she will probably be fine but if you are worried or notice her getting sick ask and actual professional for advice

What makes it green colored is either food coloring or some sort of hay or grass and cats eat cat grass right? So I guess it probably won't kill her but I don't think it's probably that great either. Also it's probably not that great for your hamster either. Try finding a pellet food without coloring.. And I don't know for sure but I don't think hamsters should eat hay or alfalfa based pellets. They need a grain base, if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I did research into getting a pet hamster but I ended up with rats so I'm not sure. Maybe do some research into your hamsters food before consulting IIN :D (also, try cat treats, I'm sure she might like them better).

I used to have a cat who was obsessed with eating puppy chow. One time the sheltie dog vomited in the house, and sure enough my orange, three-legged, tabby cat hobbled over to the pile of puppy puke and gobbled it all up like a living vacuum cleaner.

My cat eats broccoli and is still healthy. I'm sure your cat will survive.
