Everything is still in slow motion?

Okay so I smoked with two of my friends last friday through a pen and I took about 12 hits thinking it wasn’t hitting me until we got to our destination. It hit me all at once and I started to feel really scared and paranoid. My friends eventually calmed me down enough to get out of the car to eat and finish our night. I ended up having fun but when I woke up the follow my morning I still feel like i’m in a slow motion numbness kind of state. I feel like i’m moving really slow and my body feels numb. A couple years ago I took a piece of a brownie and had the same effects but that time I was alone so it was really a bad trip. This time I was with friends and ending up having a great time but I still feel high regarding my body. It’s been 4 days and the feeling isn’t going away. I have a massive headache on the right side of my head and I feel super nauseous. I live with my mom so I can’t ask for help unless her knowing I smoked weed. Please tell me this will go away soon.

Some people actually have an intolerance to weed - it will effect them more like alcohol, the room will spin, they'll get sick, might experience a "hangover" afterwards.. it could simply be that.

However, a headache on one side of your head coupled with nausea sounds like it could be a migraine. Do you experience headaches like this at other times? Have you noticed any auras or odd visual ticks in the past few days? It could be, if you are still young a migraine condition surfacing, or perhaps this was actually triggered by smoking.

I'd keep an eye on those symptoms and if they worsen encourage you to speak to a doctor. Migraines can be incredibly debilitating and if this might be the precursor to some sort of chronic condition you'd want to get that looked at.

Please not that I'm not a doctor, just some rando on the internet hoping to give some advice so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I had the same slo-mo effect, but only lasted for a week, so don't worry. After that I took some weed, and had afterwards none of the effects of the first time. But go to your GP if it's for 2 weeks or longer, you might have a disorde similar to HDDP.

Its happened to me the day after to feel a bit funny, even lasting a whole day once. But never 4 days later.

I'm curious as to what exactly you used to smoke, and the quality of what you were smoking.

Also don't smoke soon before going to sleep, as it can affect the quality of your sleep making you feel weird the next day.

What people don’t understand about weed is that it’s all about how much you smoke. You need to know your tolerance. Every time you get high and have a negative side effect/badtrip/abnormaltrip it’s because you smoked too much more than you can handle.

Maybe you don't tolerate weed all that well?

so it could just be i’m a lightweight? I just want to know if other people have gone through this before and if it will go away soon.

It doesn't make you a "lightweight" to be physically intolerant to any substance
