I worked in concrete and demolition.
Kinda but no. It's my go-to when I get motivated and want to lose weight since I've always wanted a muscular body, but I usually don't last longer than a couple of weeks without getting lazy and falling off.
I mentioned eating a whole pizza today, and a coworker said "wow, you don't look like you do that." That's about where I'm at in fitness.

My current 1 rep max is 300 on bench, 365 squat, 275 bent over row. Im getting into lifting heavy its fun.
I lift shovels and the occasional child. And my dog, but she's only 25 lbs.
Sort of. I don't lift what is considered a lot. It's just enough to stay toned. I'm 120ish pounds. I do get compliments on my arms and abdominals though.
I was actually way stronger when I was a 200 pound tub of lard. I used to lift things at work that the skinny dudes couldn't lift. I kind of miss that freaky strength. I also miss the immunity to the cold. Meh, whatever, being thin and speedy is a good tradeoff. XD
You should get a squat rack and do heavy squats. Do it heavy weight where you can barely get up the 4th rep. This is a good excersise for women. Also deadlifts are good
