Does anyone else remember the disney film the brave little toaster?

It’s was my childhood favorite. The story revolves around 5 appliances a radio, lamp, blanket, vacuum cleaner, and toaster searching for their old owner.

It’s quite dark for a child’s film. One of the final song is called “Worthless” and features cars getting crushed on a conveyor belt.

People didn't used to think children needed to be coddled and completely shielded from reality.

Dark film? Try the Rescuers. A orphan being lowered into a water flooded cavern forced to find treasure. Or Watership Down. Rabbits risking their lives to escape a totalitarian government. Or Bambi. Mom dies.

I loved that film. I think people have become too sensitive over what kids can hanlde these days. I watched "Brave Little Toaster", "All Dogs go to Heaven" and "Secret of NIMH" and they all have some intense stuff in them but I loved them.

A lot of the older kids movies were pretty scary or dark compared to the newer ones.
