Are people more mature in 2017 than 50 or 60 years ago or less mature.

Less, by far..We are an immediate gratification, I want it now, selfish, cheesy, pop culture, reality tv society. No vision for the greater good or humanity...We'd rather tweet than produce; Take cell pics than experience an actual event, post a selfie than reveal or discuss who we really are, and wear the workboots to seem tough, yet, never hard-worked a day in our lives. That's society now. All fluff and show, not a grass blade of substance or brains.
Neither. Technology has grasped onto our social constructs and completely devoured them. We have to find a way through a world that bombards us with information which proves worthless every time another answer comes around. We're not even on the same scale as our grandparents. There's no way to respond to this time period with maturity. Only the simple 'WTF?' will do.
Some people are just in the wrong environment surrounded with the wrong people. But let me remind you, change starts with us.
Well guess what. I never said that I think everything was better back in the 60's. I already know most of what you said about the things that were not as good in the 60's. I get that homosexuals were judged way more back then and that women had less rights. However, even today people are missing rights, including men. There are things that are unfair for both genders.

I feel we are more tolerable towards things like race skin colour and sexual preferences but probably overall immature, the young generation seem to be immature towards work and saving for their future, like they just seem to not realise the importance of money and saving for future... they just want everything now now now, but don't wanna work too much, they are lazy and not fussed if they don't get enough work, not to stressed about money or their future...

I would say we are a lot more mature, being what the lot of us have been through. Some people say that we complain too much but I think that so much is going on in the world because of a few small groups of people... we just need a break from all the drama.
I agree with you. I struggle to trust most women these days also as I have been let down one too many times.

It is not a trick question at all. I was not meaning as people get older and actually it is possible for people to get less mature as they get older. What the question is in general are people in society more mature now or 50 or 60s years ago. Please get the question right before you start assuming and making comments like that thanks.
