Drank every single day for five years while working in the kitchen. Got caught a few time, but never got fired. The job ended up being just a place I would go drink.
Lol are you looking for clarifacation that it's normal to secretly drink at work, it's not and people who do are probably alcoholics.
Constantly. I'm pretty wel drunk 24/7 and if I'm not I'm shooting heroine directly into my retina. I just rub some butter on a popsicle stick and slide it into my inner eyesocket by my nose, and pry it aside where I then stick the syringe into the retina and inject about 0.2 cc of heroine. (If you inject any more you risk rupturing your retina. So don't be stupid and careless with your retinas and inject any more than that idiots). I do both eyes twice each in one work day. I work in a government office so no one really notices.
Wow a lot of drunkies on this site!
I admit most jobs make you want to drink.
no. been times where i wished i was drunk but then i'd have to drive home. so no. just no.
In all honestly it would depend on age and what the actual job is that you do.
I worked through college as a chef's assistant at a catering section in a supermarket, all we did was cook or do prep work. We most certainly drank, especially if we had to go in the night before and work from midnight to 7 am. The alcohol is probably the only thing that was keeping us going. But it was easy to get away with, we were the only ones there and how hard is to cook up vodka rigatoni anyway? It wasnt what could be considered a "real" job either, so I didnt really care if I was caught drinking at all.
I work in an office now and the thought of drinking at my desk is ridiculous, not only would I feel like a drunk piece of *ish I would most certainly get fired if it was found out I was drinking on the job. Its also what could be considered a "real" job.
I drink after work! I have to talk all day so booze wouldn't be my best friend. I've showed up late or called in after a big night of drinking, but I never started at work. One time I woke up REALLY hungover and slammed a few beers before I went to work(Old retail job when I was 21)that morning, but then I left after 15 minutes because I was like, "Holy shit, you are one dumb son of a bitch." I would HIGHLY suggest you avoid it in just about any scenario, unless you are the owner and CEO of the company.
This actually crossed my mind today, I reckon I could get away with it if I really wanted to- however I have a co-worker who often comes into work drunk, slacks off and makes everyone else pick up his work for him- I don't want to be that person. No drinks at work.
When I worked in retail I used to bring alcohol in my non see through water bottle ;) , manager was so chill ... ahh good times
i used to passed through drive through and pick up a cup of ice. then get beer and drink it with my lunch. all the sudden i was all talkative at work. and then i was like.. wait, i dont like those people.
No I don't. I couldn't get away with it either. I'm a teacher so people would notice. When I did bar work I started drinking at work. I took it as a sign to move on to sth else. I suppose my thinking would have been: If you can do your job successfully while drunk, then it prolly isn't challenging you enough.
what about school. I get drunk in skool. I put vodka on water bottle. In class u just kick back n it feels good
I got drunk before school one time on the bus. It was not a good decision at all, but it was kind of fun for about 30 minutes until I got sick.
"Honestly theres NO alcohol in my coffee. I just used some mouth wash a few minutes ago. Thats all it is, i swear!"
