Do you believe this?

"You're beautiful no matter what". "Only god can judge you". "Who are we to judge?".

Do you actually believe this? (You probably don't).

No, but I think it's just better to be quiet and not judge sometimes, especially if something doesn't concern you. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

    • Then take your own advice, and don't complain about someone being a sociopath, or a narcissist, or selfish, because that would just make you a hypocrite. People like you tell others this, yet you're the first ones to whine and complain about someone's behavior.

What are you even talking about??? I think you've mistaken me for someone else, because I'm not a hypocrite and don't complain about anyone lol.

No, now you are the judgemental one. You don't know me and yet you assume bad things about me. Who is the hypocrite here?

            • I'm not judging you, i'm pointing out the facts. I'm not here to judge you. If it turned out I were to be a narcissist, you wouldn't judge me? If I turned out to be a psychopath, you wouldn't judge me? If I were to be a domestic abuser, you wouldn't judge me? You most likely would, even if you deny it now. I'm just saying that people like you say not to judge others, yet you guys go and judge other people, which contradicts your claims to not judge anyone.

I think the general gist of those sayings is not to put much value in what other people think of you. I generally believe this.

    • Then you're just encouraging someone to be an asshole, which i'm assuming you don't like people like that.

I'll encourage you to be an asshole. End of the day act as you are. If you are an asshole people will treat you as such.

        • That's irrelevant. The point is that people use these quotes, despite these quotes giving a pass on someone being a cunt, yet people complain about people that are cunts. I just doesn't make sense.

So what's your problem? If people are cunts than people solve the problem by calling them cunts.

If people dont want to be called cunts they stop acting like cunts.

            Do what you want.

I don't believe that everyone is beautiful no matter what! Rapists, and child molesters are not beautiful, they are subhuman garbage who come straight out of the arse of the Devil himself.

    No.
    First,

There are some fugly people out there. Instead of lying to themselves, they should come to a place of self-acceptance that this is how they are, which is brutally honest to accept, but the truth. Very few people will be physically attracted to them. They would need someone more demisexual or platonic.

Second, lots of people lack inner beauty. Everyone has a shadow and some darker bits, but some people that shadow just overtakes them. There is no light or very little that is beautiful about them.

God doesn’t need to judge that as some sole authority. Every human being has the ability to judge someone if they are more inherently good or just awful, or even if that person is good for them, even if they are kind hearted.

    Edit:
I reread your post and I will say this: there’s a point where our judgments of others can become egocentric and entitled, as if we have sole say on how others should be or live their lives. That in itself is selfish. As you say, who are we to judge.

You don’t need to find everyone attractive, it’s okay to have opinions. And, you don’t exist to be attractive for other people either. Here’s a better philosophy: Humans have inherent worth, and the appearance of one’s body isn’t a factor in it.

    • Oh, the "you're beautiful not matter what" statement? Lol! that quote is basically saying "Hey! everyone is beautiful no matter what! They could be an absolute cunt, but that doesn't matter, because we're all beautiful in our own way!".

I didn’t say that, reread what I wrote. I was disagreeing with the idea of everyone being beautiful. I was trying to communicate that human life has value and that beauty is irrelevant.

This Winfrey-anity just gets me annoyed.

Also, "judge" means many things. Judge as in evaluate and make decisions accordingly? That's both fair and sensible. Judge as in write off? Yeah only God SHOULD have the right to do that. But people can do it, and do it.

If you care about God's judgement, you probably aren't going to brush off other people's criticisms saying 'only God can judge me', without considering whether you can learn from them.
