Do turkeys have small habitats?

Every day, I drive into the city for work. On my way back from work, there is often a turkey on the side of the highway just standing there, maybe moving a little bit. It's always in nearly the exact same spot every time and it's puzzling to me. We're talking like a 10 foot stretch. Just wondering if turkeys have a really condensed habitat or something?

wild turkeys have a rage of habitat but most important turkeys are creature of habit. they show up same place same time . Like human hookers, drug dealers , cops on patrol, sunday preachers , doctor hours , the postman or woman more often nowadays, all these things are creatures of habit. software exist that when tested can predict where you will be within ten feet 30 days from now based on patterns of motion relayed to the software by your cell phone.

Can't find much information on range of turkeys in that way, but I imagine they'd generally span as much forest as is available to them, I often see them traveling or flying from place to place. It's possible there's a reason why they tend to rest there, like a good food or water supply or nest nearby.

Most of the turkeys I've seen nest in large, open fields. They also sleep in trees. Maybe that turkey is lost?

I am not sure. The only thing I do know is that turkeys are big, fat and round.

I've heard that too. I've also been cornered by turkeys.

Turkeys are usually pretty big. That would be kind of terrifying.

Yeah, when I was in my high school photography class I went to the outdoor learning center on campus to take pictures of the animal, and when when I went into the pen that was like a petting zoo these turkeys showed up and surrounded me. They were all gobble gobble trying to back me into a corner. I got away, but it was kinda scary and hilarious all at once. I like to think I wouldn't run now, but I could be wrong.

Large birds are a force to be reckoned with!
