Do gay men judge their partners?

I mean specifically for being gay. I feel like every person has internalized a homophobic sentiment on some level. I know for gay men this materializes often as self hatred and can only imagine that when seeing a naked man infront of you a piece of you judges them as well simply for being gay, whether you want to have this emotion or not. So this question is posed to gay men if this is true, much like a straight person may judge their partner for being a pervert as they share in the act.
