Disappointed in the media

I really got annoyed with how left wing media covered the Trump administration but now I am noticing the right wing media doing the same thing with President Biden. They have made breaking news about him stumbling. Even articles that the vice president should be removed because she bragged about smoking pot in the past. I even read a title that started with "democrats claim without evidence..." why do they have to add the "without evidence"? Why cant they just write the claim and let me decide if its right or wrong? Sometimes when they say "baseless claims" or "without evidence" there actually IS evidence to support it.

These media corporations act like they're the authority of truth and they must sign off on any claims for it to have substance. And they just nitpick pointless things that really dont even matter. I could care less if Biden stubbed his toe on the stair. They really think Americans are too stupid to see through the bias. But sadly from the comments I read in the articles many are.

    I don’t fucking care. But I would LOVE for Biden to step up and talk with Putin live. The fact that he refuses paints quite the picture for me. All y’all who hated trump (not that I’m a fan), realize Biden reopen all those camps at the southern border that are the same conditions but with WAY more kids.

    The media is for fucking sheep. They report what they get paid to. Period.

      Trump wasnt afraid to throw shit at other world leaders.

      To be completly honest it's better to have an asshole as a leader of the strongest country on the planet vs having a weak leader in charge of the strongest country on the planet.

          Policy wise he was mostly doing what his supporters wanted him to. Populists tend to do that.

    The news networks are in a ratings slump since Biden is so boring. Now everything that happens has to be ginned up to try to generate outrage among those who are still watching. Luckily, I heard that viewership is down 30 percent across the board. The less people that watch that garbage the better.

      I think another factor in the ratings being so low isnt just because these politicians are boring but because all the news networks do is spew bullshit. If they just let two sides come on and debate without interjecting their opinions more people would watch it. If you watch old media from the 70s thats exactly what they did. They allowed both sides to debate on TV.

    Kamala in Finnish means horrible btw. It totally applies to Kamala, a hypocrite who was unable to win the presidency by herself so she is probably going to be president soon anyway with the mushed brain of biden.

            I do not recomend learning it. I only know my scraps from my grandparents. Yes it's an extremely hard language for a native english speaker to learn plus it really isnt that useful of a language since theres only 20 million natural speakers.

            It's about as complex to learn as Mongolian and it's not that useful.

              i like that though, like it's unique and a less spoken language. it sounds really beautiful and i like challenges. i believe you that it's hard, but that's just going to make me want to try harder lol

    I agree, it is sad. Many blindly follow whichever tribe they are brought up in, possessed by their ideology. Both "sides" of American media play into this.

    It's one dumb, old creep out, and another in. I hope that our two-party, lose-lose, pick-the-lesser-evil system gets changed, but I'm not exactly hopeful.

    Modern journalism is an absolute cesspit. Murdoch and his peers are pulling the strings and decide who you will be angry with and when. They choose the goodies and the baddies, and the goodies might become the baddies next week and if you point out the hypocrisy then you're one of the baddies too.

    It's all fucking bullshit.

    At least you notice it. Most people just blindly believe everything their favorite channel tell without bothering to go a little deeper into the subject.
    It's like this everywhere around the world. Their aim is also to influence.

      I would recomend Tim Pool. Hes completely honest about his biases.

      He also likes to give corrections to stories when something changes, something that mainstream news often doesnt. Or when they do change it, its not highlighted its shuffled under the rug. That is fake news!
