Coworker who insist on getting christmas gifts for boss

Are the dumbest people alive. Seriously, our boss probably makes 3-4 times the amount of money we do. Why the fuck would we want to buy him a gift? He supervises, that’s his job, he’s doing nothing more than what’s expected of him. He’s not special and he doesn’t need our pennies.

I hate the two coworkers who bring it buying him a gift each year. Like, bitch quit brownosing, it’s not going to get you anywhere.

It is not uncommon for coworkers to exchange gifts during the holiday season, especially if they have a good working relationship with their boss. However, it is important to consider the feelings and preferences of all parties involved before making any decisions about gift-giving.

If you are uncomfortable with the idea of getting a gift for your boss or feel that it is not appropriate in your workplace, it is important to communicate your feelings to your coworker. You can try explaining your concerns in a respectful and diplomatic way, and see if you can come to a mutually acceptable solution. For example, you could suggest alternative ways of showing appreciation, such as a group card or a group outing.

It is also important to be mindful of any company policies or guidelines regarding gift-giving. Some organizations may have specific rules about gift-giving between employees and supervisors, so it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with these policies to ensure that you are acting in accordance with company expectations.

If you are unable to resolve the issue with your coworker and feel that the pressure to give a gift is causing you undue stress, it may be helpful to speak with your boss or a human resources representative to seek guidance or support.

My bosses give me a gift every year. Normally it's something I don't need like a mini waffle maker or Pokemon cards, but it's still nice of them.
