Hi everyone, I didnt know where to post this, the people of reddit werent kind.

Years ago I was walking home alone at night when something just clicked in my brain and I could hear people talking to me, I was convinced people were following me home via trees and I could see faces in walls (felt like I was stood starting at this one wall for eternity).

When I got home I messaged my friends to ask if they had been out (wondering if they were messing with me) they were all asleep apart from 1. I didnt tell him about the voices but he straight away told me hed seen a UFO out of his window, something darting around in the sky. His bedroom window looks out over the path I was on, but from quite a distance away. He doesnt make stuff up and hadnt seen any other UFOs before or after that.

This connection only recently clicked while going through old messages to find the date all my problems started. Must have been too preoccupied to even acknowledge what he was saying at the time. Everything started going downhill after that night and I dunno know what to think.

    I believe you. People see ufos all the time, mostly because it's difficult to tell in detail what's zipping through the sky.

    Unfortunately it does seem like you suffered some kind of mental break at around the same time. Reasonably though your altered perceptions are not likely to be because something passed by even if it was extra terrestrial. I hope you seek help for your condition if you haven't already.

    It can feel scary and isolating to see and hear things other people don't, but don't lose hope. Maybe keeping a journal and a good support to act as a perception checker will help you keep track of things. I had a teacher who told us a good trick was to ask for something tangible if you're not sure a thing is real - like gum or a cigarette.

      I just have similar things happen to me every day now.
      Voices, seeing stuff others dont, being followed, being watched.
      My lifes been a wreck since that night its hard to cope.
      Now ive found that message its strange right?
