Breaking up do to this consistant problem?

I find this to be a common complaint, or lack of intimacy. I really want to know people's opinions. Have you had a distracted or inattentive partner who you feel detached from and ended the relationship for this reasoning?

Yeah, I mean why beat a dead horse?

I do think a lot of people actually use what you're describing as an excuse to cheat, but I don't believe in cheating. I believe in breaking up if there's a problem.

    • Thank you RoseIsabella. Couldn't agree more. This is an answer that I can agree with for sure. I don't think people understand what intimacy or knowing their partner is anymore and it is depressing.

I know where your coming from But I personally don't thrive on feeling personally connected. If my dick is moving in and out of one if their orfaces, that's all the 'intimacy' I need. If it's kinky shit, even better. So I am not the best to ask this but I could be quite an issue obviosly.

Like his partner doesn't think he pays her enough attention in bed? I thought he was talking more about long term relationships because of how he says 'breaking up' in the title.

No like their partner doesn't give them enough sexual attention, I've only ever heard the word intimacy used in reference to sex or at least physical closeness, but yeah the breaking up part could imply sexless/boring LTRs

Yeah, I was trying to refer to sex in my original post also. But It is probably a combination of the two honestly. Intimacy means closeness basically so I could mean either sex or just a relationship.

If you're not happy, don't waste your time.
