Asian teens walking in tight groups

It's usually like 7 or 8 of them and they walk together down the sidewalk with no distance between each individual. They're all touching shoulders. Like if one of the little guys accidentally broke free, a predator would single him out and eat him.

  • If they're immigrants from China, Japan, Korea, or any country like that that doesn't have much space, it makes sense.

Trains and public places can be very crowded, and they're used to not having much physical space.

I like a wide birth, myself, nice and wide like my huge, land mass of a state.

They are used to it. Theyre from a collective society in which being individual is frowned upon. They don't have the same need for space that westerners do. Indian men all walk around with their arms round each other and holding hands. I've noticed Asians never jaywalk. Even if there are no cars coming they just stand their like obedient little minions.

True that. Seen it all the time in Japan. Asian Americans are just like everyone else though.

Just speculation on my end but this could also be a natural occurrence of a cheerleader effect when they do this unconsciously.
