Are we all just a figment of our imagination?

I know most of my friends have died, but when I look at it from a different angle.. were they just a figment of my imagination?
I create a story and the characters are just figments of my imagination, therefore I am real and they (characters) are Not.

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Your “soul” or “self” is but your physical body is not.

  • You can't be imagining all of reality, because if there was nothing BUT your imagination, you'd have no knowledge of anything, as your mind begins as a clean state. Think of it this way. Try to imagine a face. No, not that one, one you haven't seen before. No, that's just two of your friends faces mixed together. You can't do it. It's impossible to think of a truly unique face. It's like that with everything else. If there was nothing but your mind, your mind would have nothing to work off of.
Or maybe you've been in a coma since 2003 and are dreaming, I dunno.
