I was at work. My cousins came to buy stuff and we talked for a little bit. The subject of the bizzaro cold to hot weather came. I was all "We're Puerto Rican! Seventy degree weather is freezing to us!" We laughed at it, but two of my coworkers were all "I don't like racism." and "don't make those jokes around me". Flash forward to a day later one of the coworkers is making a joke on facebook about how they're white and love pumpkin spice. The other makes a joke days later about how they're black and buying koolaid. Am I missing something here? Also, my cousins aren't even comfortable shopping at that store location anymore after I told them this.

    maybe they just dislike you, or like you and thought it was wrong, reflected on it later and thought wow that is a great idea. i will do that sometime.

    Yes, me included.
    We see things in others but denie we have the same faults.
    We all do it.
    Some more then others.
    Some more aware then others.
    Politician's love it, and use it.

    Some people think that to be egalitarian means they have to believe all races and genders are the same. They are equal, but often not the same. Otherwise, this world would be a much less interesting place. Some people get their panties in a bunch over this unnecessarily.
