      western pop is going down with it
      (I like western pop and kpop btw so im not picking sides)
      Kpop was inspired by western pop. I literally see no difference other than language.

    When I was a teenager I used to be in the MCRmy for My Chemical Romance, which consisted of getting into lots of YouTube comment wars and being called an emo faggot as I listened to Gerard Way wail his angst.

    From what I’ve seen of the BTS ARMY they’re less keen on calling people slurs and impressively organised to the point of booking out a Trump rally. Their biggest flaw seems to be spamming people who insult BTS with hate comments and sometimes doxing them whereas the worst the MCRmy did was write incestous erotica about the Way brothers. They’re a fandom of extremes.

        I miss being an obsessed teen sometimes, I’m still a fan of most of the things I liked back then but the crazy fire has gone out in most of the fandoms. I’m glad Gen-Z is proudly continuing on the tradition of wild fandoms and strange drama.

    I’m gonna say it - they went downhill after Dark & Wild. I hate to be one of those people who’s like ‘their old stuff was better blahblahblah’ but it really was in my opinion. Namjoon’s and Yoongi’s mixtapes are exceptions but idk if I’d really count them as bts songs
