Anxiety is the worst

No, I'm not one of those people who casually state their anxiety. On the good days, I get 3 anxiety and 1 panic attack. On a bad day however, well let's just say I'm a damn mess in all aspects. During my attacks my stomach is in a giant knot, my throat is tight, I'm preventing myself from showing any tears, my hands, legs, and face shake, and I have a hard time breathing. So to any who say "just breathe" can go fuck themselves!

Try some kind of strength training or boxing training etc. A panic attack is a sudden burst of adrenaline when your body senses danger. If you get used to being in a high adrenaline situation like lifting a heavy weight or hitting a punch bag aggressively, it won't feel as scary when your anxiety sets in. It could also actually be a long term solution for your anxiety. When I used to have panic attacks I would do a few pushups or pullups and it would make it go away quicker as if I was getting rid of the nervous energy.

There is a lot of truth in this and it's not only the physicality of it. Getting your mind focused on a task helps aleviate the anxiety.

I wouldn't say that anxiety is the worst per se, but rather that chronic anxiety is a terrible affliction. I think what is the worst would depend upon the individual who is suffering, said individual's point of view. I have suffered from depression, and anxiety for most of my life, neither one is a picnic.

Anxiety and panic attacks are terrible
I'm still dealing with them. Not as bad as before, since taking klonopin. But it took me a long time to even get where I am at today. And The "Just Breathe" is a joke.People don't understand, unless they ever get it.I don't wish it even on my worst enemy

I get anxiety in classes especially if I get asked a question and if I’m standing sometimes my legs shake, I think anxiety is normal for people like us :/

I have had pad panic attacks recently. Yes it sucks! Im taking magnesium and keep xanax on me but i dont take it unless i have to.
You should see a therapist or a doctor to find out options. Its not ok to feel bad all the time ill bet you can find something to help.

True. I have social anxiety diagnosed but I experience a lot of general anxiety also. Therapy does help, even if you know how to handle it (breathing etc.) that's not always enough true because you need to get those feelings out and talking about them can be a good way.

This One day I smoked way to much strong weed. Within a minute or 2 I felt the biggest panic attack coming on, I was definitely going to die this time. This was one of my worst attacks, my hart was beating way too hard and I could not get control of this one. Tried my usually steps to trick my body out of it, nothing worked. I hopped out of the car and sat there waiting to die. It was a very cold night and as my heart was pumping really hard and fast it did not take long for my body to get very cold. Once my brain realised my body was seriously cold it focused on that and not panicking. Like the flick of a switch I was out of that weird doom hell, but a was shaking from cold. Had another panic attack and thought I would try this chilling my body, jumped in a cold shower and just like that the panic attack stopped. It also works for me jumping in cold pools.

Do you still smoke weed? Has it changed you as a person?

Has weed changed me as a person? Don't think so. Has anxiety changed me as a person? yes, Pro: really good senses, excellent alertness! Out in the world I notice way more then the normal person, not just threats and bad things I notice nice things to. I am always pointing things out in nature to people and they are like "dam, good eye, how you notice that". colours are way more intense now. Con: Worry worry worry, did I say worry, sometimes not knowing how to take a situation, like is this something to be afraid of or is it ok and normal. I also can not stand them florescent lights in supermarkets anymore, they give me a feeling of vertigo.

No I don't really smoke weed anymore. I would though on occasion if it was like organic (no chems, grown under the sun, natural compost soil) I was a heavy weed smoker from about 2001 to 2010, I noticed weed changing around 2008, just wasn't the same melow smoke that made you laugh and get the munchies anymore. was too strong and more just mad you paranoid.

I have heard that weed is way stronger now than it used to be, unfortunately I'm too young to have ever tried the lighter stuff. Whenever I smoke it I feel good for a bit and then go crazy anxious on it. I imagine the lighter stuff feels like the first hit.

I can't smoke the stuff. Way to much anxiety and paranoia. A laughing, munchie driven, mellow high sounds good but it doesn't exist these days.

That's why I like bush bud or the so called weaker shit. People call ya a pussy but why would I want stronger stuff and be stuck feeling bad for a few hours.

            "munchie driven, mellow high"
Those were the days! Only way to be sure is get good quality seeds from a trusted source that has weed high in cbd and lower in thc then grow it yourself.

Well I used to be like you and "just breathe" actually works wonders.

Taking the time stop, acknowledge what's going on, telling yourself it's just anxiety and taking a moment to breathe in and out consciously, basically cured my issues. It took years but it works.

So I guess I will go fuck myself now. Listen or don't but it worked for me.

Have you considered speaking to a Psychologist? There are usually underlying issues that cause these emotions to occur. It's also important to have a good support system, friends and family that can be there for you, hold you, talk you through it.

Sometimes, but it can be a physical cause too. Thyroid, hormones, adrenal disorders etc can cause similar to panic attacks.

It's good to start bringing your mind back to a healthy place. If you don't feel up to dealing with the physical matters at the same time then it would be wise to work on the psychological.
